Alfred was rarely ever in the city- but he'd kept hearing about the Enterprise and was curious. But, cities had changed a lot and even with his magnetic sense he just could not navigate. At least he wasn't the only one. "Hey, dude, you lost too?"

"Hello," She smiles at the young ensign. "I'm Amanda; I don't believe we've met. You're...a member of Starfleet?"
In Between Days And Closer To You
Two ensigns on the same away mission. It wasn't normally advised, but then again, while T'androma and Pavel were two of the youngest people on the ship, they were also two of the smartest. Two ensigns and a senior grade lieutenant on an uninhabited class M planet. It shouldn't have ended the way it did.
Taurus Alpha IV was a dying planet. After a team of scientists that were stationed there lost contact with the ship, T'androma, Chekov, and Lieutenant Daniels were sent to excavate the habitat and locate the missing crew men. These sorts of things were the Vulcan's specialty. Planetary Science was her preference of work, so landing parties were a frequent part of her job. As for Chekov, he knew his way around. "Directional instincts," he called it, but T'androma just called it intelligence. And Lieutenant Daniels was there for protection.
It shouldn't have been very hard, nor should it have have taken very long, but it did. No evidence of the previous landing party remained, except for their equipment in the research lab. As the problem became more of an enigma, T'androma became more and more determined to solve it. It simply wasn't logical. Four Starfleet scientists safely secured in a research lab on a planet temperate enough to be called a vacation spot. And they go missing? There was a missing variable in the equation that seemed bound to reveal itself at any moment.
Two hours of surveying every possibility, and she had found nothing. T'androma thought to all the times that Pavel had declared how necessary breaks were in long intervals of working, and she determined that perhaps this time he could be right. Standing up straight to stretch her back from being hunched over some sand samples for so long, she strolled over Pavel's set up and smiled tiredly at him. The two ensigns looked out at a glistening lake that expanded in front of them to a distant shore on the other end. "If it wasn't so illogical, I would conclude that the missing crewmen built at hut somewhere and settled."

[spins in her chair to look at him, navigating the ship with full attention] Mister Chekov. Are you going on your break soon?

Suffice to say, Winter shore leave was not T’androma’s favourite time of year. The Vulcan found the holiday season to be a frivolous waste of time, but there was no use arguing. One Vulcan disagreeing with 426 humans tends to get one’s argument no where. So when the ship delayed it’s mission, every crew member beamed down to the surface of San Francisco for the holidays and T’androma (reluctantly) accompanied them.
Everyone was given a room to share with someone. On this particular trip, T’androma was assigned to the same room as one Mister Pavel Chekov. The two hadn’t officially met, but it would be logical to create at least an acquaintanceship with one whom she was to be sharing a room with. So after unpacking her bags neatly, she waited in the hotel room not long before her roommate arrived.
“Mister Chekov,” she greeted. “Nice to meet your acquaintance.”
