Sharon Carter: [Affiliation: Jake Bennett] Jake met Sharon after she tracked him down after he did a heroic deed and saved a plane from crashing into the heart of the city, she was only able to track him down after he unfortunately dropped his wallet, which led the SHIELD agent to him. She was well aware of his activities in Metropolis when he saved the world from one of his own, General Zod who wanted to terraform Earth so it could suit Kryptonians but it involved wiping out the planets current population, something Jake could not stand by and let happen, citing that Krypton had it’s chance.
Jake tried his best to try to shake Sharon but his attempts failed, her argument was that someone of his skills and heart would be a good fit with S.H.I.E.L.D. Jake made the argument, that the world was not ready for him especially after Zod showed that Kryptonians could be a huge threat on Earth but she debunked that by saying there were literal gods in the world. Eventually Sharon was able to convince him and he became a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent and later an Avenger. Helping protect the world, and after S.H.I.E.L.D. was exposed to have Hydra infiltration, Jake stuck by Sharon’s side when she became a member of the C.I.A. and he became an Avenger full time. Being involved in many fights to protect the world, but when the Avengers became divided over the Sokovian Accords, Jake was not present having left Earth on a hunch that Krypton might still be out there, being gone longer than he planned which Thanos came and gathered the stones and succeeded in wiping half of the universe’s population. When Jake finally made it back to Earth, it had been two years since the snap, in which he learned Sharon was a victim and that she had been pregnant given him reason to join the effort to reverse what Thanos did, as he blamed himself for not being there to help. After defeating Thanos and reversing the snap, Jake reunited with Sharon, and they both bought twins into the world, a girl and boy, both half human and Kryptonian. Jake has since then proposed and is taking a break from saving the world to help Sharon raise their children.
