The Entelect 100K Challenge 2014 Winner is....
A few months ago I told you about the Entelect 100K Challenge, you can read that article here to refresh your memory. If you were at rAge on Saturday morning you may have had a chance to see the epic battles play out and the winner announced.
The R100 000 prize went to Pierre Pretorius.
If the name sounds familiar it is because Pierre won the competition in 2013 as well. He’s a 28 year old software developer from Pretoria. He completed B.IT at the University of Pretoria and has been working for EPI-USE Labs for the last 7 years. He’s also now a 100k richer.
I’ve been lucky enough to hang out at the Entelect offices and I was so impressed with how passionate the company is to promote coding and build the community with initiatives like the 100K Challenge. It’s no surprise they were recently named the 2014 Best Company to Work For in the annual Deloitte’s survey. They also took home the award for Industry Winner in Information Technology and Best Small Company in Southern Africa.
