I stumbled upon a 100% biodegradable phone case from the company pela. They use Flaxstic which is a material made of flax straw and other biomaterials in order to make the phone case. A gorgeous Hawksbill Turtle feeds on a sponge in the crystal clear waters of Palm Beach County Florida! The Hawksbill turtle was named because of its narrow pointed beak, similar to our hawks. Despite being found throughout the planets tropical waters, predominately on coral reefs the population has been drastically reduced because of mankind! The IUCN lists this gorgeous creature as critically endangered! When you buy turtle jewelry your actually paying for people to kill them for the shell! As one of my favorite nonprofits says; Wildaid - "When the buying stops, the killing can to!" Please support this excellent nonprofit that does incredible accomplishments to stop the illigal trade of Wildlife! Here in Palm Beach County five of the seven species of sea turtles can be seen!
