The Enterprise is mostly painted so it's time for... lighting. First time with this so very nervous.
But testing lights looks good. No bad LEDs and the motors for the Bussards work, tho they are a bit noisy. So it's time to actually glue them to the ship
I do not want to get into how messy a process this was. Lots of glue and epoxy to keep the lights in their mounts and keep the wires from getting into the windows. There’s gotta be a better way
(I know there's a better way I'm just not confident enough for it so I'm following the instructions)

I’ve thought about what it’d be like if these two met for a long time. In my head canon they are like Washington & Hamilton trope though they’re more like different generations handing the torch to the next.
So it's been an hour since I glued the saucer shut. Time for some moment of truth shit
So far so good!
The bridge looks so good. Fully justifies its price (do not look up the price)
There's some light leaks to address. Will have to fill the gaps with putty and paint over it.

After market parts! A photo-etch set and a transparent resin bridge part (the transparent part will be important in the future!)

Test fitting in the top saucer. Also I did the undershading. I think I'm getting better at controlling the airbrush. It looks splotchy but that won't matter once it's painted over.
Looks good! I mean it looks a bit blurry in the pic, but in person it looks good. Scraped away paint so that light can shine thru the screens and consoles.
Oh yeah I'm lighting the model up. All the stops.
