Well into #Fall2021, here comes one of the much-awaited premieres this season, #DemonSlayer #EntertainmentDistrictArc!! ⚠️Warning: Spoilers Ahead!⚠️ The Entertainmenr District arc is one of the series' best and most hilarious arcs because of the scenes that Tanjiro, Zenitsu and Inosuke will find themselves in. But before that, let's go with the premiere first. It's a one-hour special that's divided into the closing of Mugen Train Arc and the beginning of the Entertainment District Arc. Starting off with a flashy recap of Kyojuro and Akaza's battle, we see how Muzan shows his power and disapproval of Upper Moon Three. Akaza, Akaza, Akaza... That's all he said and yet we see an Upper Moon on his knees. The power dynamics and execution were so on point. On the other hand, we also find ourselves in the Rengoku household which packed all the emotions, triggering leftover tears from Kyojuro's final moments. It felt a little strange hearing Junya Enoki voice Senjuro (Itadori from JJK), but how he portrayed him was truly gut-wrenching. He also leveled quite well with Hanae Natsuki that you get sucked into their sentimental feels. What a great way to cap off Kyojuro's arc. And of course, the main event, Tengen Uzui's introduction. I need to review my manga knowledge, but seeing him carry the girls from Butterfly Mansion and how things unfolded -- such a comical way of introducing your next Hashira highlight. More than anything, what I found so impressive from this double feature was the large flex that ufotable did with the world-building and camera work of the Entertainment District itself. Season 1 treated us to a finale of Muzan's mansion. To see a spec of it in this premiere was pure joy. It immediately took me back to Gintama's Yoshiwara Arc, though this time, we got demons in our midst and three boys dressed as entertainers themselves. Just thinking about it is enough to make me chuckle. Also, the OP for the closing. We're definitely in for a treat with Uzui's wives and all the quirks and laughs of this arc.
