CHEAP people are so confusing to me.  I get being cost-conscious,  especially now that I've decided to take a sabbatical from my 8-8, 6 day a week job.  But, cheap I don't get.  I've found that cheap people are often people who also act entitled (another pet peeve of mine).  I think it may be a defense mechanism to mask their inability to have power over any other part of their lives.  

Example: I was reading a recent yelp review about a restaurant.  The woman gave them a bad review because there was lipstick on her martini glass, which the waiter also thought was disgusting and brought her a new drink.   Why the bad review then?  Because she didn't get a free drink!!  Why does that make any sense?  She got a clean glass and a new drink.  The restaurant still has to pay for the alcohol and the bartender and the waiter...

Entitled stupidity

What is it with people, especially young kids these days, that they have this overwhelming sense of "ENTITLEMENT". And it's idiotic and stupid how ignorant and naive these people are. Like they have the right to everything glorious and anything less is just beneath them? It's as if they woke up and just expected things like respect, and kindness, and adult treatment to just be shown to them all the while being rude brats. All these things are allotted out of courtesy but to keep it you have to earn it too! Its not just about doing adult things its about acting like one. Not snapping and whining or crying or throwing fits when your self righteous self doesn't get what it wants. Life is a two way road and in order to get anything and keep it you have to truly earn it. Earn it by giving what you expect to get back. Yes it's that simple. The Golden Rule. You want respect, kindness, to be treated as a mature adult, etc then you show treat others that same way. All things are earned. There is no freebies or hand outs in life.
