Everybody stop doing whatever you're doing and look at this beautiful lady
She's a Meloe sp., I don't know what species exactly (my guess is M. proscarabaeus or M. violaceus), I'm pretty sure she's a female since she was around 4cm big (my estimation, didn't have a ruler on me) and males are a lot smaller. I saw her on my walk on Koniklecová louka in Kamenný vrch in Brno, digging around on a dirt path. She's angry in 2nd and 3rd picture because I took her rock away so I could see her head:) unfortunately the camera on my phone kinda sucks when taking pictures up close so you can't see her in all her beauty but trust me, while she looks good in these photos, in person she was absolutely stunning.
