aside from the ones who appeared in the first game, which character from entropic float 2 did you create first? or were there any that predate the original game?
CROWNPRIMROSE and Maude were the first characters I thought of specifically with EF2 in mind- As for characters who predate EF1 in some way, let's see. Renfield's name was different at the time, but he appeared in my fanfiction Game Over: Start At The End, as did Syoko and Greta. Cobalt also predates EF1, though without any early appearances- She was initially concepted to play a specific role in an Ai The Somnium Files fancase I never followed through on. Tony as well predates EF1 since he started his OC life as @stephaniedola 's The Magnus Archives fancharacter!
And this isn't what you asked, but: The last character to join EF2's roster was Bea! Originally Ruby was going to be the kid who Cobalt went looking for, but I realized that Ruby and Renfield had too many similarities when it came to "items they'd like", and Bea would be more interesting + add a different personality type to the cast

Ooo, that's a good question! I think that they would be able to get along, but might have a rocky first meeting. I think that Jane's a lot more down to earth than he is- The classic divide between the artistic type and the practical type, you know? But they'd be thick as thieves after the first time they put aside their differences to smoke up together, lol.

for how long has Alice known about Cobalt's kids? with her view of demons as the enemy of humanity, why is she supporting the situation (as much as she is anyway)? whats up with the whole "research asset" thing? i feel like these are all kind of connected, but not in exact detail
Well, that'll mainly be the contents of Cobalt's second memory!! But what I can say for now is that Alice has known about the kids for exactly as long as she's known Cobalt. The whole situation was basically a matter of, well, he sure can't work at WTF Japan anymore but also sure can't be left to her own devices and also also is too good at our unethical magic science bullshit to murder so. Americans. You take him and also these two kids she stole I guess.

That is a VERY good question. Especially since Ruby is something of an "impersonator" himself from a certain perspective. But I think the answer would be pretty simple- A few rounds of trivia. Ruby's not very motivated or an expert in anything, but he has unrivaled ~esoteric knowledge~
29. How do they respond when someone doesn't believe them?
Disbelief right back. Cobalt's used to being taken at her word, as a genius. Most of his setbacks have had nothing to do with being disbelieved at all. It's nearly incomprehensible that somebody wouldn't take something Cobalt says as cold hard fact.
54. What's their instinct in a fight/flight/freeze/fawn situation?
Bea is generally the flighty type, followed by fawn, then fight. Though she may live in a dazed state, I don't think she'd ever freeze up in the face of danger. She might have a bit of delay to her reaction, cognitively, might take her some seconds to realize she is in danger, but she will always take SOME action when she does.
