Yeah, it's an outright hatred. Not rational on her part, but it just makes things awkward. She goes around telling people that I have a disorder that I do not have, she death-glares me constantly, I don't think she's ever said something to me that wasn't either condescending, a put-down or both, I caught her whispering about me but I didn't get a chance to hear all of what it was because she saw me, etc. 

Someone who knew her before this told me that she was the queen of high school, and that over time, no one really believes her gossip because it's almost always made up and kind of implausible.

Yeah, I'm just trying to be polite. My main issue is that I tend to internalize negative things said about me. That's my problem though, not hers.
