In my head, when I was still a kid, I thought that Principal Entropy II was like 45, 50 years old. I was just talking to Chuubo the other week – I found out that when we were 15, Principal Entropy was 22. So why was he in charge? All he could do was manage a staff a little better than I could. 22 when I’m 15? That’s just like hiring a slightly bigger teenager.

About every other year a student asks me what part of School I sleep in at night, because clearly I live here. I tell them I sleep under the bleachers in the gym, but it’s actually the Nurse’s office.

Imagine an ogre. Now imagine that through some accident of deviant science, the ogre sprouts wings and learns to breathe fire. That would be a really unfair thing to have happen. Ogres are already powerful enough without those things. Similarly, teenagers are already scary enough without the ability to perform Imperial-level miracles whenever they want to.
