EG XXXG-01W Wing Gundam

the Entry Grade take on the Wing Gundam from Gundam Wing

it's pretty good, though there were a lot of places that needed color correction with paint markers

leg posing is also limited as expected from EG kits

the wings are simple but still pretty good

Built Entry Grade RX-78-2 Gundam today while I watched the first Mobile Suit Gundam movie

I love this guy so much and I adore this trilogy so far, it's such a good story about war and how it changes people

Saw someone say that the reason there's no entry grade Zaku is because it would be TOO convinient as an army-builder, and that Bandai makes more money keeping the high grades as the cheapest option. My own theory before reading that was that the pipes were just too difficult to do in a way that doesn't require tools, at least at entry grade price.

Either way as someone who likes giving away entry grades as gifts, I wish there was a mono-eye option to offer to people, and I think that the original GM would be a good contender since it's such a simple design and I presume it's not as popular of an army-builder as the Zaku or more modern variants of itself like the OVA versions. Just look at the high grade. I think you could definately do a version of this that doesn't require tools.

Built a new Gundam that I got for Christmas. It's funny going from a Real grade as my first one to an entry grade as my second one. This is the Strike exceed Galaxy one I think? I really like it, especially the way you can take apart that sword but and turn it into a blaster or attach the blade piece to the shield as well.
