My dear Fianceé and I recently took Bucky to the vet; a simple check-up. She is perfectly healthy, but was very stressed out the entirety of the visit.

It already started in the car, so Stanley got on the backseat to calm her down. The drive back was a bit better. It was very surprising to the both of us how talented Bucky is when it comes to heartbreaking meows.

Anyway, after we arrived home Bucky was allowed a snack paired with cuddles - all by Stanley of course. While I may sound very negative here, I am positively surprised by the fact that she did neither hissed at me nor scratched my hand. It may be nothing to outsiders but to me it means a lot.

The Ocean of dreams

“PIRATES ARE COMING!!” 

  “KAYA-SAN!!”

  Kaya was used to being woken up by these cheerful little shouts. Since Usopp had left the village almost three years ago now, the new Usopp pirates had taken up the mantle of their departed captain and ran through the streets of Syrup Village yelling that pirates were coming. Most of the village had become accustomed to it and had subconsciously used Usopp’s morning routine as their own alarm clock. Without him they had trouble getting started in the morning, so when the new Usopp Pirates started running through town shouting just before dawn, it was quite welcome.

  Today was just the same. Kaya smiled as she heard their voices and stretching she rose from her bed to change before breakfast. 

  “Kaya-san! Kaya-san!!” the voices didn’t cease today: that was strange. She exited her room and hurried down the stairs to find Merry trying to calm the three boys down. “Kaya-san!”

  “What’s wrong boys?” she asked offering a warm smile, Carrot wiggled past Merry and hurried over to her, clutching her skirt in panic

  “It’s Captain! Captain Usopp is back!” he shouted close to tears.

  “-” Kaya was slow in processing the information. “Usopp.” Kaya runs out of the house in a flurry. Usopp is back? 

  The harbour seemed so far away all of a sudden. No matter how fast she felt like she was running the ocean didn’t want to come any closer. Finally she got to the top of the slope leading down to the harbour and she saw a grand ship, a carrack ship if she remembered correctly. It had a huge sunflower on the front of the ship. Was this the Strawhat’s new ship? She hurried carefully down the hill trying to catch her breath at the same time. As she approached the ship, she saw a figure stood on the sand looking up at someone on board. 

  “Usopp?” she called recognising the curly black hair, the figure turned around. He blinked and grinned brightly. 

  “Ya, Kaya” he said  waving nonchalantly. She felt the tears brimming as she took in his beautiful face. 

  “USOPP!” she cried running towards him her arms outstretched, he ran towards her wrapping his arms around her tightly, “usopp. Oh you’re back.” she sobbed slipping her arms around his neck “You’ve gotten so tall,” he smelt like the ocean itself and his arms were so much stronger.

  “I missed you” he mumbled back burying his face into her neck. “It felt like an eternity since I left but I’m back now” he said pulling back, wiping her tears away with his thumb. “Luffy is pirate king now and we’re having a little down time. I had to come back,” Kaya had missed his voice and his bright smile, “I have so many tales to tell you.”

  “Will you stay with me?” Kaya asked hopefully “Of course, all of you are welcome to stay in my home too,”

  “They’re going to visit the Baratie. so it’ll just be me if that’s okay-”

  “Of course!” Kaya was delighted to simply have him back even for a little while. “The boys will be so happy to see you.” she started to walk away from the ship when she felt a hand bump hers, looking up she saw Usopp blushing like crazy. Smiling she laced their fingers together and leant into him as they headed back up the slope. 

  The townsfolk rejoiced and welcomed Usopp back singing his praises. Kaya chuckled watching Usopp bask in the adoration. Once back at the manor, the three boys sobbed even louder and practically jumped Usopp the moment he walked through the door. Kaya sighed happily as she watched them cry joyfully.

  “Will master Usopp be staying awhile?” Merry asked quietly, 

  “He will” she replied unable to stop smiling, 

  “I’ll prepare-”

  “He’ll stay with me,” Kaya interrupted quickly, shocking Merry. 

  “Madam!” 

  “No. I won’t hear anything else about it.” She said firmly. 

  Usopp was equally shocked at the news of sharing a bed with Kaya. He went crimson and stumbled over his words. 

  That night they laid in bed.. Usopp laying on his back telling Kaya his stories, she curled up beside him hooked on every word. 

  “Usopp-” she took a deep breath and glanced up at him, “I- I missed you so much.” she mumbled “I love you-”

  A hand touches her cheek stroking it softly, “I love you too, Kaya” she looked up to meet his eyes, both of them blushing like teenagers. Usopp moved to lean in and kissed her gently, running his fingers through her hair “I’m never leaving you again.” he whispered, pulling her close. Kaya smiled and rested her head against his muscular chest, he made her feel so safe. She could stay like this forever. 

“Miss Kaya! Miss Kaya!”

  Kaya jolted awake and found her bed empty, her heart sank like an anchor “a dream.” of course it was too good to be true. Another deep sigh and tears threatened to fall as she remembered the sweet dream

  A sharp knock at her door snapped her out of her daze, “-yes, I’m awake.” Merry opens the door and peers in before stumbling across the room in excitement. “Good morning Merry-”

  “Madam. A letter.” he said grinning wildly handing her the envelope. He looked at her eagerly waiting for her to open it. 

  She inspects the letter carefully before opening, she gasped audibly as her eyes read the first line.

Dearest Kaya, 

  I hope this finds you well.

  Things have been hectic on becoming a great warrior of the sea.

  The tears were falling like waterfalls down, she couldn’t stop. She was crying with happiness. Her vision was blurry as she read the contents of the later but the last few lines made her heart swell with joy.

  I’ll return to you with even greater tales! 

  I love you,

  Usopp.

  “Oh, Usopp.” she sobbed clutching the letter, she looked out the window toward the ocean “I’ll wait an eternity for you to come home.” She would have to rely on those bittersweet dreams until he came home. “I love you Usopp.” Kaya whispered, her heart longing for her handsome pirate.

france

Known for being the city of lights, the Eiffel tower, cuisine, and fashion. I wanted to visit the country that is known in the movies for being home to one of the famous tower in the world and one of the fashionable cities in the world. Whenever I hear a person speaks french, I always feel at awe because I always thought that french is such a beautiful language despite it being difficult to pronounce.

Of course, when visiting France, the first thing you would want to do is to visit the famous Eiffel Tower. I also want to climb the Eiffel Tower and see what it looks like once i’m in the top. I feel like the Eiffel Tower is a sight to see once it became late at night. I would love to visit this place with my significant other in the future. 

The next thing I want to do in France is to visit the cafe in France. People has always talked about how bread such as baguette and croissant in France is different from other countries. Of course, there are also different cuisines in France that I would like to try. 

I also want to have a front row seat in a runway walk during Paris Fashion Week because Paris is known for not only the destinations and food but also for its fashion. There was a time where I wanted to be a fashion designer, that’s why I want to support the fashion industry due to my respect for both the fashion designers and models alike.

Entry No. 2

This time, Will is nowhere to be found. Instead, the tops of two fuzzy heads appear at the bottom of the frame, one black, one white.  “Told you the angle was messed up.” One says, and a gangly black-furred arm reaches up to fix it. The hand has a visible set of pink pads. “S’not my fault your dad’s almost taller than mine.” The other replies.  As the camera angles down, the kids come into view. Asriel and Lucas, giving each other a look. At least they look rested and fairly composed. Just like before, there’s the gentle beep of an EKG in the background. Asriel’s wearing borrowed pajamas, and he’s folded the extra sleeves into a sort of scarf. Lucas’ eyes are a gentle gold. “Okay, uh, how to start?” Lucas asks, folding his arm back around his chest to rub his shoulder. “Umm. Hi. I’m Lucas Gaster, an’ this is Asriel Dreemurr.”

“Doctor Gaster’s sleeping.” Asriel says. “So, uh, we thought... we might try and record some stuff for this thing. We just got a message that the, um, the probe thing was ready.” “I mean, it came up on dad’s phone.” Lucas clarifies. “But he hasn’t slept for, like... three days.” “So we wanted him to sleep.” Asriel says. “And, um, here we are. It said we could get text messages and maybe images. Video and live stuff, they said, that’d take more bandwidth.” “Something about the probe-thing’s location.” Lucas says. He shrugs. It’s an odd rippling motion with all four arms. “I dunno exactly. But anyway.” “First of all, wanna make sure everyone knows, already told Doctor Gaster. Chara told me to call ‘em ‘they’ an’ ‘them’.” Asriel says, crossing his arms. “I know he said ‘girl’ in the first’un but he was wrong.” “Yeah, dad didn’t know.” Lucas says. “Second, um. He’s really not sure what’s going on.” “He said the flowers might mess with her brain.” Asriel says. Both kids glance past the camera at something. “And he sounded really worried about that.” “So, um, if you’re out there, maybe send a message back? Just.. you know, in case.” Lucas says. His eyes return to the camera. “‘cause my dad needs help. He was so tired. An’ Chara needs help too.” “Yeah.” Asriel nods. “Even jus’ knowin’ there’s someone out there would probably be nice, I guess?” “Would mean he could ask more specific stuff!” Lucas says. “And, I mean, people from another... what’d he call it?” “Time-line?” Asriel shrugs. “Anyway, meetin’ new people’d be cool.” “*Very* cool.” Lucas agrees. “Especially if dad can get help with Chara.” “Yeah, um. I’m... I’m pretty scared that, y’know, they aren’t gonna wake back up.” Asriel says, wringing his hands. Lucas wraps both of the arms on that side around him in a hug. “S-so, um. Yeah.” “S’pretty much all of it. Um... talk to you later, maybe?” Lucas says, then taps the escape key, and the transmission goes blank.

There are two (main) reasons why I transferred to Bacolod. The first reason is because of my [pathetic weak immune system] health.  Manila is the capital of the country and everything about Manila is fast paced and that includes the pollution. Unlucky, as I am, I was born with a weak immune system in a good neighborhood in a decent house that was appropriate for the three of us; mother, father, and I. No matter where you go you will always be enveloped by pollution even if you don’t want to be. Regardless, to cut the long story short. Growing up and living in Manila as a child was not a practical thing to do since I would always get sick and with me being sick always required medical attention and it isn’t pretty. The constant back and forth to the hospital was only tiring and nothing about it was fun.

Second, is because my parents wanted me to have a bond with my grandparents. As cliché as

it sounds my family is a little more on the traditional side and they would do anything to keep it running in the family. Growing up in Manila already involved me growing up with the familiarity of my other relatives from/of my mother’s side.

In Manila I remember growing up in a house with walls painted white and a marble tiled floor. I remember that my first cousin Ate Marie, the daughter of my mother’s second eldest sister, used to be my neighbor and every day she would often go to my house to visit and play with me since we were the closest in terms of location and age. I remember playing with her in an empty room but for the others I cannot recall.

In Bacolod, I remember growing up with my grandparents- after all they literally lived next to our past home. You can say that I grew up  with my cousins (father’s side) but it took me months to adjust to my new environment especially with the people. Mostly because the language barrier was present and even though there were words that were similar with Filipino it had a different meaning.

I remember traveling back and forth to Manila and Bacolod for a multitude of random reasons such as; family reunions, birthdays, deaths, school breaks, and other important events. I remember very little of my childhood except for certain memories that I wish not discuss or state in this entry. Now if you ask me how I would describe my life my answer will always be the same. My life is comedic tragedy that I have to live till the very end.
