i am happy to hear you enjoy my work. i'm sure you were referring to 2 dead 2 air, but funnily enough i've done enough these past couple months for me to be uncertain of what you mean.
to those wondering about the other projects i've not spoken on in some time: don't worry, i still remember them and am jumping between multiple projects. my focus is utterly scattered, but i'm always drawing and thinking.
i haven't spoken much of enurdelta due to still developing it in my head. i have a strong concept on how the dark worlds look, but i've been struggling to put that into words... that, and i want to have a strong handle on the light world and its cast. i find that the light world and the lightners are not only important but crucial to the development of most deltarune AU concepts, but they're underrepresented if not completely ignored. these AUs work totally fine without them because they were developed without that consideration, but in my opinion they lack the depth and raison d'etre that the source material provides.
i still don't have the words to describe what i want for noelle, but i hope the way i'm approaching her character design bridges the gap i can't fill with description.
enurdelta noelle to me is very utena tenjou to me--or, at the least, would be the type of person who idolizes her. she's haughtier, more willful, but when the going gets tough she's familiarly timid as her canon counterpart is. she's not as brave as she wants to be and it frustrates her endlessly.
all of my noelles are trans girls also so keep this in mind
sooo! um uuhh where to start.. i know you've got designs for enurdelta swatch and susie so do you have any thoughts for them? what about enurdelta tenna?? or king maybe?
other than the characters' cores, is anything else kept the same? is anything relating to gaster or friend or the mystery caller the same? what about the prophecy, the knight, or kris? is the plot of deltarune something you've thought on yet?

(this ask has been sitting in my inbox for some time.) i still wish to make a masterpost/info post for enurdelta, which will best explain the basics of the au... but since this ask exists before i've even put the info post together, i figure it's a good opportunity to still work in the sandbox.

Enurdelta Swatch:
much like how spamton appears to be one of toby fox's favorites, swatch is that equivalent for me in this AU. it probably helps that Я!swatch takes spamton's role in part, and as such has many moments that they butt into.
Я!swatch is a mechanic/engineer/roboticist who hates all things prim, proper, and authority. they live out in the cyber fields with their hooligan swatchlings (aesthetic based on greasers/punk subculture, which to my mind is a reverse of dandies and butlers) tinkering with trash and spraypainting graffiti. Я!swatch and co rebel against queen's authoritarian city in any way they can, advocating creativity and chaos in the populace. their collective work is controversial, but many cyber city denizens look forward to seeing what art they bring into the city the next time they raid it. in that regard, they embody the canon sweet cap'n cakes' roles as much as Я!swatch does spamton's...
that said, Я!swatch does occasionally fall into the trap of "living as an inversion of the thing you're trying to avoid". they are addicted to the feeling of being wanted/useful--in particular, being useful to lightners--and so have strong attachments and feelings towards anything orientated around fulfilling their created purpose (moreso than most darkners). though they do not demand the swatchlings' service/camaraderie, they are single-handedly kept sane by their constant and supportive presence. they get a thrill out of being a nuisance to queen's butlers and royal guard, fulfilled by giving her staff something to do that attracts all attention. swatch is a particularly masochistic mouse to queen's reluctant cat.
swatch also has an ever-so-slight romeo and juliet thing going on with spamton (queen's head butler), except for the fact that when queen isn't looking the swatchlings and addisons mostly get along fine. it's literally only a handful of addisons that disapprove of their... friendship... unfortunately it's the most important/influential addisons though, so hijinks still ensue.
Enurdelta Susie
she is the light of my life no matter the universe.
there's a lot we still don't know about susie, so things are subject to change here (as is everything else). in broad strokes: i'd imagine the difficult home life she likely has in canon would follow here in enurdelta, but she'd be the other end of the spectrum as far as impoverished school kids go. which is to say: susie would be trying to present herself as prim and properly as possible, but that is as much an ill fit for her as being a bully is in canon.
i think canon susie cares about her appearance, but can do very little about it--likely has been disempowered from being able to do much outside of brush her hair. Я!susie has been made to feel like appearances are everything, and does as much in her little power to look acceptable. she irons the few clothes she has every day with the hand iron she saved up to buy; she tries to keep her teeth and nails well-kept and resists picking at either too much; keeps her hair up and out of the way; is basically trying to handle every visible aspect of herself like it has a "hazard! do not touch!" sign on it.
personality-wise, she's someone who wants to be loud and wants to say something, but has spent her whole life forcing herself to be quiet. something always needs to be done, to be said, but it can't be her who says it. she knows that if she's the one who says it, the statement will be ignored if not outright dismissed. but god, does she want to say it. if she just keeps her head down and keeps working, keeps studying, keeps doing a passable job and works to do a better one, then she'll... then she'll...
she is exhausted and she doesn't like any of this. but there are rules. she has to follow them, and have the rules be followed, or else.
as she explores the dark worlds with kris and ralsei, she starts being more lax with her appearance and gets a lot happier with how she looks. she starts saying what's on her mind a lot more. and she slowly but surely stops worrying about what's the "most correct" thing to do, instead using her heart as her compass over what was hammered into her mind. her character arc is purposefully opposite to and the exact same as canon susie's.

i know they're all parts of the game and a big part of fandom, but i don't care too much about any of them right now. FRIEND in particular is currently irrelevant entirely.
The plot of Enurdelta
boy, have i thought about the plot of enurdelta. have i thought a lot about enurdelta.
i've been approaching the AU as a hard mode/game+ version of deltarune. if it were a video game, enurdelta's battles and gameplay would be harder than deltarune's. rudinns all become rudinn rangers, and rudinn rangers become something else; secret bosses are made into main story bosses, and new secret bosses are made; final chapter bosses are made all the more hard...
and there would be a lot of dancing, because i think that'd be fun.
Tried looking through the tags but couldn’t find anything, so I’m curious if you have any set (or at least a general idea of) “canon” heights for your human addisons? I know you’ve got at least an idea of size, since you draw them, but idk if you’ve settled on any specific numbers or just “a head taller than that one”, “half a head shorter than that one”, etc.
With two follow-up questions; are they similar/the same heights as their game/darkner counterparts, and does it change from au to au? I’d assume not for the second, but you never know!
i wouldn't follow this chart overly-precisely, but i'd say this is roughly everyone's height relationship to each other for my human addisons. specifics that i stringently follow:
Saburi is the tallest, and is freakishly tall. Samson is the shortest, but is over 5 feet tall.
Clanci is, definitively, 6-feet tall/183cm. Likewise, Sid is 186cm (reference to their Addison name, 86 Ceres Plochere)
Severin is shorter than nearly everyone else, but is still close-to average human height. Valencia is taller than nearly everyone else, but is meant to be around the same height as Tenna (not on here).
Capri is taller than OJ by a couple inches, but shorter than Clanci. Capri comes up to about the middle of Clanci's face.
Cate seems like she'd be smaller/daintier than the others, but while not exceptionally tall, is taller than people think.
these heights do not take into account heeled shoes, which most of these characters sometimes wear.
Are the similar heights as their darkner counterparts?
Their height relationships are similar, but depending on time period they vary a lot more.
Spamton even before his puppetification was much shorter than everyone else (floating around the 145cm mark)
Junior Plicate was around 150cm, and jumped up by 20cm or so in height when she became a senior. Likewise, junior Valencia was shorter by a few inches, but xe was taller than everyone else excepting Pink Senior.
Like Val, Pink Senior was a lot shorter as a junior but still taller than most around Pink. However, Sev-5 never changed heights between junior and senior status.
I think all of the Junior Addisons, if lined up next to their human counterparts, would be a little shorter than each counterpart.
Do their heights change from AU to AU?
Some of them do!
For Defernull:
Sev-5 in this AU is one of the few Sev-5s that wears heels, and they wore them all the time until late Hot Shot Era when they retired. Because of that they tended to stand over shorter/average-height Addisons (including OJ and Capri), but are in truth the same height as their other AU counterparts. That said, their "aura" made them seem much bigger/imposing. Not a lot of people got close enough physically to Sev-5 long enough to realize they were kind of a shorty, but it's not a fact they were ever self-conscious about. Nowadays they're a lot more withdrawn and feel smaller, even though they've not changed height or size.
Cliq was self-conscious about their height, and so downloaded modifications to make himself taller/slightly more imposing not too long after joining Spamton's collective/being taken under Sev-5's wing. In this universe, he's a little taller than Ceres. You can actually somewhat see Cliq's differences in height between universes here.
Ceres is the same height as in other universes, but post-Hot Shot Era habitually slouches. So it looks like Cliq is more taller than Ceres than he actually is.
OJ and Capri are also wearing heels all the time, so they also seem taller than they actually are in comparison to their counterparts. OJ is actually the same height as their canon counterpart, but Capri is physically a couple centimeters taller.
Plicate carries herself a little taller and more confidently, so she seems bigger even though she isn't. Valencia is about the same height as everywhere else and commands the atmosphere of a room just the same, but rather than canon Val's joviality, DFN!Val's presence is very much equivalent to when someone important, serious, but famous and well-regarded enters a room. It's a specific kind of pomp
You'll notice an on-going theme here of characters commanding more/less space than they actually take up.
Other AUs:
In Dead Air Swap AU, ghost Severin is technically taller because of the whole bird head/neck situation. Severin never actually gets any taller they just feel taller.
In 2 Dead 2 Air, you could say that Saburi (goes suspiciously silent)
In Deltarune Swap AUs (Enurdelta, Spamtenna Swap), Ceres cracks her egg much earlier thus presents more femininely in these universes. She chooses to lean into her pink parent's freakish height and wears high heels more frequently, so they tend to present taller than other Cereses in the multiverse.
And in Spamtenna Swap, under my headcanons, Spamton would actually be a Senior Addison due to how Addison Seniority works. So while I think in the original AU it was the intention to make Spamton taller than his canon counterpart, he very much is so in my interpretation. He's probably sandwiched between OJ and Capri in height, now.

So i was wondering, what is Kris's soul's deal in enurdelta? Like how does it work
this something i can answer short and sweet, though with some vagueness...
Enurdelta is meant to be a "Hard Mode" version of Deltarune. This means that if it were a real game, it'd be expected--but not required--for a player to have played Deltarune first. The player would have knowledge of normal Deltarune coming into Enurdelta, and this is a similar case for whatever metatextual entity (if anything beyond us) the Soul is.
The Soul will still be connected to Kris in a way identical (or as identical as possible) to canon Kris. I cannot say if the circumstances to Kris acquiring The Soul would be similar, as we do not know what those circumstances were (if at all relevant) in canon. Whether or not Enurdelta's Kris interacts with the Soul any similarly or differently, I will leave that up for future artwork to depict.
Unless I decide otherwise in the future, or canon or the way this AU interacts with canon obligates otherwise, the Soul operates similarly to (if not the same as) the canonical Soul.
(you are god's strongest enurdelta fan and i really appreciate that. i am so sorry i have not answered your other questions yet, i have been saving them for when i can post something more detailed and comprehensive. apologies for my perfectionism.)
