What got you into forging?

so there are two answers to your first question. the short answer is that I saw a knife online I couldn't afford and decided to try making it myself. long answer is that my grandmother was a jeweler and jewelry teacher. I ended up going to the art school she used to teach at and immediately switched from focusing on photography to jeweler and sculpture as soon as I got my hands on it.
teenage me would either be *stoked* that I'm a professional knife maker working for an occultist blacksmith living in the woods, or he'd be devastated that I'm still alive. thankfully that kid is dead now and I'm piloting his corpse and his opinion doesn't matter lmao
