TITLE. THE WAY TO PROTECT THE FEMALE LEAD’S OLDER BROTHER / ROXANA

status. ongoing, 35 chapters (on hiatus after s1)

genre. isekai, villainess, historical-ish, drama, romance

warnings. lots of bloody / gruesome scenes (e.g. torture, murd*r), implied inc*st (not from our MCs, dion isn’t romantically/sexually interested in roxana if i’m not mistaken)

+ pros. the art style is so pleasing to look at, the storyline is really well thought out as well, i think a lot of people will like it a lot !!!

- cons. not suitable if you’re looking for something light and fluffy bc there’s quite a bit of angst and bloodshed here

> similar stories. your throne (art & plot is similar), the villainess reverses the hourglass (FL is also cunning), the villainess is a marionette (scheming FL + her beauty is one of her weapons)

RATINGS:

art. 100/10; it’s absolutely gorgeous and everyone is hot as fuck, the art fits the story perfectly

plot. 10/10; very interesting and different from the other isekais i’ve read, the story isn’t like your typical romance manhwa it’s more gritty and dark

comments. i recommend this manhwa so much it’s one of my faves, everything about it is gorgeous and i love love love roxana and cassis. if you like stories where the villainess actually does villainous stuff then you’ll like it. no love triangles so far (if you don’t count her brothers lol T_T).

-presentation: honestly i can respect just serving it to me in a classic blood bag

-visual: it’s pretty!! really nice blue.

-taste and texture: ohhhhhh sooooo gooood. tasty! rich! kindaaa fatty almost? obviously not FATTY or i would take her in to my office to talk about her cholesterol or something, but it’s smooth and lingers a little

-experience: nothing special happened with the blood or the drinking but transforming into the donor has made me feel pretty strong and like, physically dense like i could tank anything. like a greek statue of a person. and she’s TALL. 10/10

TITLE. THE LADY AND THE BEAST

status. ongoing, 58 chapters as of 23 aug 2021

genre. reincarnation, historical, romance, physical transformation (man to wolf), a lil bit of a love triangle but it’s not really there yet

warnings. a bit of blood here and there but nothing extreme, a bit of trauma + low self esteem ??

+ pros. FL is physically and mentally strong + super smart, ML is very cute and puppy like at times, if you like cold-hearted FLs you’ll defo like this bc the ML is the one who gets all blushy and flustered. art is really nice and the plot is very interesting

- cons. some people don’t like how the FL still appear so emotionless after 50+ chapters (her trauma runs really deep). the romance is a slowburn one and bc of this so so far the story focuses more on the action/adventure instead of the lovey dovey stuff

> similar stories. i raised the beast well (not really similar but it has a beast-to-man ML too), your throne + untouchable lady (physically strong, smart & cold FL)

RATINGS:

art. 8/10; very pleasing to look at, the lines are nice and smooth, it’s not the type of art style where it looks choppy and sharp

plot. 10/10; VERY interesting imo, deals with reincarnation instead of isekai, the plot is unlike most historical manhwas i’ve read before
