I’m so fucking tired of living in a world where everyone in power only cares about their bottom line.

I just saw an article saying that China has limited their imports of recyclables. Which is fine. We need to deal with our own mess and not just send it to somebody else.

But this article was saying that a lot of recyclables are just going to be thrown away now because because the options are throw it away or pay more to recycle properly.

The world is basically ending because of the consumerism THEY’RE promoting and can’t even deal with their own trash.

The fish you eat is most likely fished in some other part of the world that doesn't belong to you because your sea and ocean is no longer a source of resources. The article "A Chinese City Moves to Limit New Cars" was written by Keith Bradsher in September 4, 2012. The article reported that GuangZhou, the third biggest city in China, started to limit new car in order to protect the environment and reduce the traffic jam. The Guangzhou government thought that the environment problems have affected their city for a long time, and they should do something to solve these problems by some effective ways. The GuangZhou government said that in order to consider long-term of China's development, they should give up something. That was the reason why they did this movement.

In my opinion, I completely agree with their idea. First of all, the traffic problem in China is serious, especially in the big city, such as Shanghai, Beijing and so on. We should pay attention to these problems because they are bad for our earth and health. You cannot believe that you should use two or three hours to work or go to school per day in China. We should solve these problems as soon as possible. Secondly, if countries want to develop and become strong, they should give up something. The country should pay attention to the long-term in order to give up something, just like the way limit new cars in the article. Lastly, limiting new cars can protect the environment. As we all known, the global warming has become a worldwide problem to effect human beings. We can reduce the carbon emissions by limiting new cars in such a huge population country. In conclusion, that is the three advantages of limiting new cars in big city in China, and I support their opinion.
