I got a job with EnvironmentMichigan, and I feel like it's the best thing I could be doing at this age. Not because we get this information out to so many people or because of the money we raise, but because at the beginning of each day, at the end of each day, and even in the middle of the day, we, the staff, are meeting together, eating together, conversing with each other, feeding each other ideas, introducing each other to movements and groups we'd never considered before, and teaching each other about the different things that each of us are interested in, be it feminism, racism, marginalized groups, stereotypes, gender studies, social movements, change, justice. There's so much. So much. You wanna learn something, you find a place where people talk, where people talk about everything.
