“So if I told you the cooler is acting up again could we close up early?” Anton’s joking to an extent, expression deadpan as he peeks around the corner into the office. It’s a weekday, things are slow, he can’t say he’s not a little antsy to get out for the evening knowing that Val’s at home and he’s still…Lain isn’t pack, but he’s still important to him and after the whole Otherworld situation, he’s gone from ‘generally worried’ to ‘I’m afraid of leaving him alone for to long’. But he’s also turning into his mother at his point, always suspicious, always checking up on people. He has to check up on Enzo and Flora, too. Flora who he’d witness nearly turn into something else entirely. @enzo-spada
