12. Your boss tells your coworker that they have to let them go because of work shortage, and they are the newest employee. You have been there much longer. Your coworker has a family to support and no other means of income. Do you go to your boss and offer to leave the company? Why or Why not?

hmm this one really depends. if there were more available entry level  jobs (things i could move on to) quite possibly , but in my current situation, no. also when there's work shortages, one person leaving a company won't necessarily stop another from being fired. especially if you're trying to keep a specific person. but yeah, if there were other things i could do to stay afloat, i'd try to negotiate them keeping their job.
