Also known as the cave nectar bat, it is found in primary forests and in disturbed and agricultural areas. It roosts in caves, in larger groups, with some roosts exceeding 50,000 individuals, and it sometimes roosts with other bat species. In some places, this species seems to have adapted well to leafy, semi-urban habitats. It is a very important pollinator of fruit trees, such as durians, and other commercially important crops such as banana and jackfruit.
It went well! I broke an acting wall I've never passed before; I got super in touch with my emotions and let my walls down enough to cry on cue.
Well. Kind of on cue. I didn't cry during my rehearsed mark--of which I was only able to do once in front of the director only--but later during the monologue. So I just let it happen and it was crazy. Good but I'd never done that before. Especially in front of 130 people.
1) If someone really wanted to understand you, what would they read, watch and listen to?
Hmm. This is an interesting question, for sure. It’s not something I can entirely narrow down. But I suppose if I tried, some of the choices would be:
Read: Sword of the Guardian by Merry Shannon, Wicked: The Life and Times of The Wicked Witch of The West by Gregory Maguire, Annie on My Mind by Nancy Garden and Fried Green Tomatoes At The Whistle Stop Cafe by Fannie FlagWatch: Disney’s Mulan, Prince of Egypt, Selena, Princess Bride, The Descent, The Fifth Element and Forrest Gump.
Listen: Playing God - Paramore, Make a Man Out Of You - Mulan, Breathe - In The Heights OST, Reignite - Maluka, Lucia Di Lammermoor - The Fifth Element OST, Robin - Witch Hunter Robin OST and Defying Gravity - Wicked OST
20) Would you rather be in Middle Earth, Narnia, Hogwarts or somewhere else?
Ooooooooh. Tough choice between Middle Earth and Hogwarts, actually! Middle Earth would be dope because I’d surely be a dwarf lady. But then Hogwarts is cool too because I’d be, like, one of five POC in the entire school who was also a Bear Animagus…
I’m gonna go with Hogwarts. Because, c’mon, BEAR ANIMAGUS and all those ghosts everywhere would be amazing on Dia De Los Muertos! They’d probably actually appreciate someone who celebrated it.
29) Three songs you connect with right now
