I’m so sick of health insurance BS
Please feel free to ignore rant.
I almost went to the ER and went to see a dermatologist because I had an allergic reaction to something, which I believe is the EOS stupid chapstick, and my whole face was swollen and I couldn’t even talk or eat with huge bits of skin just peeling and falling off. Apparently its not covered by the benefits of my insurance so now I have to cover the whole thing myself which I honestly cannot do now, or in the near future unless I want to give up my metro card to be able to get to work and not eat for a month. So, going to either try to refute this because it was not a “cosmetic” visit (seriously I thought I was possibly going into anaphylaxis but when I could breath ok I decided to go to a derm instead of ER), but because my face, to quote the doctor, said it looked like it went through a chemical peel from a sever allergic reaction, or I am just going to ignore all future bills that come my way. It’s worked for the past 3 times I’ve had this happen and they usually just stop caring and go away but like....I hate having to do that?
I need to wait for 2 paychecks to come in, in order to pay my rent which is really stressful from my primary job.
I built a new computer, and spent probably more money than I had, but it really will be great for doing a 3rd freelance job option which I think I need to do. I already do CG as my main job, and I do freelance photo retouching for a studio as my 2nd. So I can do either of those as a 3rd freelance option I think or start up art commissions?
Sorry for the rant. I know that I am fortunate in that I do have a roof over my head and a wonderful supportive friend and partner. I just want to be less overwhelmed soon!
