#10 - End of Week 2 Report
How many lucid dreams this week? None, but came close - I had a very near lucid one the night of 8/03! It was pretty much one continuous dream, like a long movie, and while I woke up several times, I intentionally went right back into the dream - but didn’t maintain awareness that I was dreaming for very long. Skipped my meds that night. I had another very vivid one last night, but not lucid.
Do you believe the bracelet is having an effect? Hard to tell. My sleeves usually cover it, but even so, I’m still doing reality checks more frequently than I otherwise would and thinking about lucid dreaming more often.
How many dreams were you able to recall? 1 or 2 each night.
Are you recording them daily? (Be honest, please. This is an important part of the experiment, as well as the next…) I confess! I haven’t been very good about this :( I’ve been writing down keywords when I wake up but don’t have the time to write a full report in my dream journal, especially with the loooong one from the night before last.
Were you able to wear the bracelet every day this week? Yes.
How frequently you do your checks during the day (estimate)? At work, usually once every 2 hours. (It’s madness at the moment.) On the weekend, 1 - 3 times an hour.
Did you change your reality checks? Yes. Still reading and re-reading text, still trying to recall the last few places I’ve been, but instead of trying to breathe through a blocked airway, I’m looking around and asking myself “Is this the way things usually are? Is there anything different or missing?"
Did you use any other techniques? No.
Any other change in dreams? They’re longer, more vivid, easier to recall, and color is sharper, more extreme.
Any non-dream experiences that could be related? Not that I’ve noticed.
