I've decided that with the new year, i'm gonna make some changes to my life. And one of them is the discontinuation of this blog. I honestly don't even know how I managed through 2018, but it's kind of like a miracle and I have so many people on here to thank because of that. But this year has been such an eye opener and life changing and really I just haven't felt like tumblr is a space for me anymore. I haven't enjoyed it for a while and really only kept coming back for the few ppl I contact through here. But I decided to hold out till the end of the year and give myself a clean break. There's a plethora of other reasons as to why I am discontinuing this blog but none of that is of any importance to any of you. I'm just ready to move onto bigger and better things.

I'm so so so so so incredibly, unimaginably thankful and grateful for the people on this website that got me through 2018 and beyond. I've met so many amazing ppl that have impacted my life in ways that they wouldn't even be able to comprehend. I love you all for having a hand in making me into someone I fall more in love with every single day. Making a list of said people would take forever and a day as I've been on this website for years. But you know who you are 👀👀

Anyway, if you want just catch me on twt where I will continue supporting all my faves the only way I know how ~

This doesn't have to be goodbye but like really guys I'm sooo far done with this website. Have been for a while. I think it's good to finally close out this chapter in my life.

what did you learn about yourself this year?

I’ve learned a few things, honestly. 

As selfless as I try to be, I’m really, really, really selfish. 

I am made out terribly for relationships. 

I know how to handle a line rush at a coffee shop. 

A lot of feelings can be described through music. 

I’m really shitty at sleeping without someone beside me if I’m sad.

18. what surprised you the most this year?

that I passed all of my spring semester classes because that’s the mood

honestly it’s that I fell so hard for someone. I didn’t think it was possible to miss someone in so many capacities. let alone someone that, when rational thought is applied, I shouldn’t have fallen for, because I don’t really know them and we’re not that close. so yeah. 

also, I’m really surprised our country hasn’t imploded. knock on wood tho.

according to my spotify wrapped, it’s “nowhere” by East of Eli, but honestly the best song I’ve heard this year is “Runner and the Lover” by Former Vandal, “Light On” by Maggie Rogers, or “Thru These Tears” by LANY.

2. best moment of the year?

I can’t put my finger on a best moment of the year, to be honest! This year’s been a lot of amazing moments. 

Probably one of the best moments I had was when I had all of my friends together and we went canoeing on the river to celebrate my friends’ birthday! I really felt like an adult right there, and it was one of those times everything was right. 

(honorable mention goes to meeting one of my online friends when I went on vacation! but i’ve mentioned it too many times I don’t want to be annoying LOL)

17. what are some hobbies that you developed?

This year’s been kinda low-key on the hobbies, to be honest! I’ve done a lot of adult color booking this year, tbh. If writing poems counts, I definitely started doing that more this year, too! And editing photos, I guess!

23. one of the best meals you’ve had this year?

*flashes peace sign* when your university has #1 dining lmao nah it just means that all of our meals blend together haha. 

In terms of food, one of the best meals I had was when I went to this tiny restaurant with my parents for my birthday just off of campus -- the food was so good! But also, I went to this small Hawaiian barbecue restaurant in Burbank, and that was bomb. 

In terms of company, I’ve had a couple of memorable meals! Some have taken place at this Greek restaurant in Northampton (a town right off of my campus!) because one of my high school friends came to visit, and one of my closest friends and I had a last meal there a couple of weeks ago. Another time, my friend group and I went to a diner to celebrate my friend’s birthday; once, I had Subway with one of my online friends LOL! This year’s been hella on the friend dinners.
