When I saw Patricias' trembling hand I immediately thought that something horrible must have happened because my girl is not weak, my girl is brave and she had proved it before when she saved those people from drowning (well, she had technically been the cause of them being in danger in the first place, but she didn't know, ok?) and I was right because, you tell me, if you had opened a hundreds-year-old coffin and had found the man inside was still alive, wouldn't you have run for the hills? But there she was, still.

(I would have loved to see them opening the coffin, though. That scene would have been hilarious, I'm sure)

Widow's Bay ep 1x07: the Children's Toys

The little doll (Mary) doesn't have the brooch, which is not surprising really, but I wonder if maybe it will come back later to show which family on the island has it as a family heirloom, revealing them as descendants of Richard Warren.

Also, just curious: how many children do you see in the boat in this painting?

In the brochure it said Warren and his first wife had seven children so I was surprised when he introduced just five to Sarah, but it still looks like five-six children around Sarah in the boat (plus the one floating away) to me. I see two on the left, one on her lap, one on each of her shoulders... and I'm not sure if there is another one in front of her or it's just the shoulder of one of the boys on the left, lol!

But again, the brochure is just a prop that we weren't even supposed to read so maybe it's simply that it was supposed to be seven when they were in preproduction and then the writers changed it to five or something like that. I don't want to be annoying, I'm just having fun checking the little details in the show.
