so ppl i finished vampire academy a month ago and I'm currently reading bloodlines and I'm so freaking pissed that this fandom is dead. like i need to cry and rant each time i read sydrian scene that touches my heart and brings tears to my eyes but there's no one to share it with. richelle mead fandom please come alive for the sake of my sanity.

Even more unfortunately, it's not just teen/ya shows it's scifi/fantasy/"genre" shows in general. They're pretty much non-existent on network tv right now, and the ones on cable/streaming, it's the handful of episodes every 2+ years shit 🙄

a faithful adaptation of a book series, with canonically-accurate characters and a non-diverging plot, with good production and a high budget, thats just as immersive and full of character as the books

but unfortunately, a unicorn is more realistic
