Synopsis: The guys are doing activities and playing games from their childhood. Jin is hosting and the winner will receive a 'gold' prize.
Production: So, it's been a while since we've had a good ol section of 'run bts does something but doesn't explain it at all so if you're not already familiar with the concept you have no idea what's happening'. These activities are a confusing mess for international armys. oh well. at this point, it's part of the charm of the show even if I still spend most of the episode trying to untangle what they're actually doing rather than just enjoying it. I'd much rather be confused with these than have more of the same games on hotel room floors like other episodes.
Endearment: The members are so much more comfortable this episode. they're back in their studio doing activities they understand. its so wonderful to see how excited they are about the snacks from their childhood and getting caught up in the drama of each move in the games.
Winner/Loser: see final part
Best Cheater: As much as I want to say Tae's magic trick, that was obviously for entertainment and not an actual cheating moment. now, JK practicing so much when he was told not to? That's definitely earning him this spot for this episode.
Member Moments:
RM: RM skuttling over to the candy machine with his prize coins. I'm so endeared.
JN: Jin is such a natural host. I happened to watch the latest Run Jin episode today as well and its so funny contrasting him here vs how he handled hosting in that one.
YG: Yoongi the wise providing a judgement of the color the sugar should be after cooking.
JH: Hobi being such a good sport and holding down the board for Yoongi's throw.
JM: Jimin is doing so well in these games today! Its so nice to see him not being surrounded by bad luck in Run games.
V: Tae completely obliterating RMs chances in the hopscotch game.
JK: So many JK memes from this episode. my favorite is when he does that great catch but then drops it.
Bonus Content: This one was so good! excellent extra moments and expansions to the bits we did get in the cut. the members also chat a little bit about having time off to rest which makes me so happy for them.
