                       fear is something dana has known all of her life, though most of it was her own fault. no matter how hard her parents tried to teach her out to be fearless, dana found herself curling inward at any sign of confrontation, anxious at every turn, unconfident in all of her decisions. no matter how hard she tried, dana found herself shrinking back no matter where she went or who she met. brows furrow inward at the center ; her smile is present, yet small. ‘ i understand, ’ and she means it. ‘ i haven’t figured out how to get over it yet, either. but there’s still time, right? ’
