I really liked your meta post on Kaiser's name, so I was wondering what your thoughts are on the idea of Kaiser having changed his last time? It's a headcanon of mine that I assumed debunked after 260, but the way you phrased point #1 as "Michael Kaiser is not the boy who was abused. It was the boy who was abused who became Michael Kaiser." got me thinking again. I like the idea of him reclaiming his name, but I can easily see him wanting no association with it or that man ever again.

Uhh not sure if I understood your question correctly. Did you perhaps mean that Kaiser had changed his last name?
Assuming that’s what you meant… it has honestly also crossed my mind.
Personally, I’d prefer it if he did change his surname. But logically, I don’t think this aligns with Kaiser’s character. He’s not one to run away from the past. Heck, he even tattooed a rose on his neck.
And if he did change his surname, there should’ve already been hints of his original surname in c260. But there was none of that. It was also explicitly mentioned that “Michael Kaiser” was the name the thief gave to the police to frame him. The narrator could’ve just said “The thief gave his name,” but nope, they spelled it out for us:
