The bright lights of Lumen were much different than what Vashyron was accustomed to; the base back home was nothing so bright, nothing so vivid. Hell, all the lights of Ebel City that shone during the darker hours of the day could not compare to the lights of the island he now resided on. So, suffice it to say that the sudden change in scenery was slightly uncomfortable. It wasn't to say that he wasn't grateful for it, for he was -- in a strange way, anyway. A world away from the pandemic that he'd known all his life .. it was refreshing, in some sense. As far as he knew, this world wasn't affected by such a thing. Nor did its people need to rely on a system to keep them healty, and alive. The prospect of a new world was strange, sure -- the idea that he was just "picked up and placed here" was even stranger -- but he'd always told Zephyr and Leanne to keep their minds open to these kinds of possibilities.
Granted, he was never entirely sure what lay in wait outside of Ebel City and the system of Basel itself -- but he'd have been a hypocrite to preach to the other two hunters and not believe his own words.
In any case, his search for the aforementioned hunters had proved to be fruitless so far .. and the blonde male decided it was time for a change of scenery. After wandering around the bright island for some time, he came across a bridge; beyond that bridge, if he squinted, he could see what looked like another island. However, this island was different from the one he was on: what Lumen lacked in darkness, this other island seemed to make up for it tenfold. He could just barely make out the start of the island, and the darkness that loomed over it .. but it was a good distance away from where he stood, so he could only see so much. However, in spite of not entirely knowing what lay ahead, Vashyron decided to press on. It didn't at all appeal to him, running in blind .. but if he was going to find the two missing pieces of his trio, he needed to make his way as far as he could. He was completely prepared to fight, if the need arose; he'd had his gun out and loaded the entire way, the stereotypical "dark is bad" running through his mind as he (unsteadily) crossed the bridge.
.. So to find a city that was near-identical to Lumen laying in wait came as both a shock, and a relief. Despite his relief, however, he did not lower his guard entirely; he put the hand-gun back in its holster, but his hand still hovered over the grip in anticipation. As he walked the streets of Tenebris, his free hand rose from his side to reach up and tug at the collar of his leather jacket. It was unlike him to wear it zipped-up completely, but with the discovery of the brand on his skin, he decided not to leave it open as he used to. The first thing that Vashyron had discovered after waking was the word "LUST" etched into the upper part of his chest in large letters, for all to see.
And, as much as the word might've coincided with his actions at times, he didn't need it burned into his skin and made public, especially if Leanne and Zephyr did eventually show up. Though, chances were, neither of the younger hunters would be surprised to see that this was the word chosen to describe him --
The sudden sound of close footsteps thudding against the concrete snap the blonde hunter out of his thoughts, and he looks up and ahead of him. The city streets were littered with quite a few people, so it should not have come as a surprise that people were lightly pushing past him to get by. None of these faces looked familiar, though. But, if he could venture a guess, he would say that all of these people were subjected to the same thing that he was. That was, they'd been taken from home because of this "goddess", and placed here, in Pandora. The reason was unclear, at least for right now .. but with a little further investigation, there was nothing that Vashyron couldn't uncover about his place --
-- And it might actually prove to be easier than he thought. For, after scanning through the crowds before him, the blonde caught sight of someone far too familiar to just dismiss as "another captive of the city". The dress that she wore and the light blonde hair confirmed it; the holsters attached to the belt around her waist were an added bonus. Standing around staring at her wouldn't do any good, though; he'd have to get her attention to be one-hundred percent sure that this wasn't just a trick of the eyes.
Then again, if it really was her, and she turned around and caught him staring, she'd probably give him a good smack. He wasn't about to wait around and figure this out that way, though. With that in mind, he brushed past the people surrounding him, and when he got close enough to her, he called out.
"Hey -- Hey, Leanne! .. That is you, isn't it?"
