Jasmine will be pregnant for the full 9 sim months, but Shorty's alien pregnancy is nearing its end so I managed to find enough money to reno and add one more small crib. I had to steal room from their kitchen/living area to fit the new tiny bathroom. And there are still only two cribs so hopefully the kids aren't all on the same sleep schedule. Shorty's just going to have to step up and sleep in shifts so someone will always be up to take care of the kids. They're going to have 3 under 5! Boy, am I glad I won't be around for that!

Lawerence seems to be doing well! This is great, he's still in high school!

Jasmine on the other hand...Geeze! When is she going to catch ANY kind of a break!? It's (thank goodness) my LAST day with this household so all I can do is leave them heading in the best direction I can without too much interference and hope they take the lead I left them!

Ooop! Shorty went into labor and left his job at the hospital to go home and give birth...logical...Side note, he is SO NOT impressed. Ha! I'm glad you're unhappy sir! Jasmine will love little Billy Bob like her own, so there!

He wasted no time taking the newborn to the Family Center and then dropping him off on the floor so he could go off and get "juiced".

On a Hot Summer's Day

It's been a few days since I've filled my queue, but I have a minute between Halloween and multiple children's birthday parties, so I'll do my best!

Brooks, like a good boy, is up bright and early to deliver the newspaper...along with a couple of notifications! Yay!! Another wedding in the works! Unfortunately, I suspect I won't be on rotation for it, but don't worry, as with Redwood Harbor, I plan to take some posed pictures for an album!

Jasmine was up before Shorty of course so she had a little fun before taking care of Ephraim. It's a weekend so everyone is home...well, off of work.

I guess Story Progression didn't take my que when naming the Garrett's new LO. Jill, Joe, Blake?? One of these things is not like the other! Oh well, it's a solid name. And I try to stay away from renaming babies born to SP unless I absolutely need to for keeping my sims straight. I may be alone in this, but my gameplay feels more immersive to me the less I interfere.

It's a Good Thing She's a Family Sim

Yep! There's definitely a baby alien hybrid on the way and Shorty doesn't seem too thrilled. Don't mind the green mist right at his crotch Bahahahaha!! My screenshot skills on display again LOL! Facepalm...I swear it was by his belly button when I hit the camera button!

OMG This guy!!! Grr!! Jasmine! How are you okay with this treatment!!?? You deserve better!! Also, part of the reason I'm building her mixologist skill because not only do I suspect they'll eventually break up, I REALLY hope for her sake and the kids, they do.

Aaand yes...she is officially pregnant as well, so as sad as her life is I guess at least she's on her way to fulfilling her family sim lifetime wish, because yeah...If they break up, Jasmine's going to take custody of all the kids, alien included.

Just another normal day after that. Both Jasmine and Shorty were off to donate organs, mail carrier throwing their mail on the ground (and no, this wasn't because the dog chased him off, Brooks wasn't around), and the babysitter providing questionable care for little Ephraim.

Wow! Big surprise Shorty has coworkers who don't like him. And POOR Jasmine! This girl can't catch a break!

Unexpected Weight Gain

Jasmine ran to the bathroom first thing...uh oh...did something happen before I got to the household, or was it that risky woohoo she initiated after another spat with Shorty?

I don't remember quite what was in the newspaper, but there are some ne notifications to read!

Andrew and Angela are hooking up now, the neighborhood dogs seem to all be getting it on with each other, and ... oh dear! Facepalm. I don't usually play with aliens or supernaturals, but it is St. Bernie after all. And the namesake of the world was the eldest of my friend's zany family. I feel like if an alien pregnancy were to fit in any of my current saves, this would be it.

This Sim Makes Me so Sad

Welcome to the first of the Redden households. Jasmine Reed lives with her boyfriend, Shorty Redden and son Ephraim. Originally the household had another adult, Lori, but she moved out via SP at the beginning of the playthrough. Both Shorty and Jasmine are in the medical career track, but neither has progressed beyond the entry level.

I kept getting an interaction from the mailbox to return stolen item. I assumed Shorty had stolen thing, but no...

Jasmine!! Really??

Ephraim was down for a nap when they got home from work. They had a few moments to chat before Shorty ran off to a party he'd been invited to at the Lum's.

I almost forgot about the dog! This one I remember the name of because it is Brooks. He was named through SP, but Shorty HATES Brooks Cassidy so I can't help but feel like he named his dog Brooks on purpose as a dig to Brooks the human sim. I have no way around this...Shorty is NOT a very nice Sim and I feel so bad for Jasmine and Ephraim, but Jasmine is devoted to him.

Shortly after Shorty left for the party, she spontaneously began crying about her life! It's so sad. I'm sure she'd love to get out some too, but financially they are on a sinking ship so her entire life consists of work, paying bills and taking care of Ephraim, who still doesn't sleep through the night. I'm going to be honest, she really got to me. She has such a sad Sim life. I'm going to see what I can do to help her out.
