Navigating My Posts

A note about my blog. As many other users have experienced lately, I've come across several seemingly random posts of mine that are flagged as mature content. My content is based off of the Sims gameplay which is rated T for teen. I make every effort to keep my content at the most PG-13. I have submitted claims for many of these posts already, but if you see one flagged, it is nothing you wouldn't see in a PG or PG-13 rated movie.

I don't often share pictures from my real life, but my kiddo was begging to try to put one of our pet costumes on her kitten and the result was too adorable! Honestly, my photography skills are usually about as good as my screenshot skills 😂 so I can't believe I got such a good picture of her, this isn't even edited in any way!

It may not be in the most glamorous location, but I think it's adorable! Lucky Largano's the little hole in the wall casino!

There's not much to the inside, but that doesn't mean your sim can't win a jackpot here and make some memories!

As a side note, just because of the number and variety of lots, there are going to be several NPCs spawned. I will likely leave most of them in for myself, but as always, removing a few registers or swapping out regular bars for professional bars will reduce a little lag if you are struggling to run the world, or just don't want your save inflating with NPCs.

Tessarina was downtown again and off to test the newest lot to be completed!

Aaaand she was more interested in napping and fighting with the concession NPC than the actual displays 🤦

It's the aquarium!! I'm pretty pleased with it, however the various sea life was swimming through the glass in various areas and once moved they weren't all spawning again, so this lot will take some more testing.

I am hoping to work on Pickerling Cove a little this week now that I am caught up on a few things! I am still not going to complete all of the lots planned. There are 2 cabins lots I am leaving completely blank as well as 1 cliff lot-- that one was an old build, but I can't get my terrainoffset cheat to work at all for some reason it doesn't do a darn thing on any lot no matter what I've tried so far which is weird and annoying because that means I also have a couple of lots that I need to replace and probably completely redraw in CAW itself because somewhere between the first and second version of the world two lots sank into the ground 🙄 oh the joys of world building. Anyway, there are two townhouse buildings I will likely leave as shells with the bare minimum of decoration inside as well so I can focus my energy on the cemetery/ church, elixir shop/ caravan, apartment/ decorative business building and Jenga Tower--the custom high rise I've had planned and have been avoiding! I will share screenshots as soon as I have some new ones!

No Matter what I do, the Zombies are Still DOA

All three kids in the household were off to enjoy their last day of summer break which is good because while Zombie Roommate has STILL failed to get an official gig, I decided that a jam session at the Neptune Club may at least help them progress as a band.

I was wrong...wah wah wah...

They put on a pretty decent show for a completely empty bar...it was depressing.

So depressing that Blaine spent the rest of the evening spilling his sorrows (of which he has many...Really Brianna? Still after Reggie after all these years when Blaine--the Blaine--Blaine of the bookstore all the single girls were always after is in love with you?) to the bartender.

All's quiet in the house except for a tiny puppy chewing on a hot dog squeaky.

Eventually, Blaine decided to show up at Brianna's where everything seemed to be going well...until that is, he decided to spend the night and fell asleep on her couch. That's when Clark showed up again with Christy in tow. And yeah...there's definitely something going on between Clark and Brianna! Flirting and giving back massages at the very least! But my time with this chaos was OVER! I guess I'll have to wait for town notifications to find out if Blaine woke up to find these two flirting and whether or not Edith knows or even cares about Clarks transgressions.

This Sim is on Fire

Still focused on his career Terrell learned a new song first thing in the morning. He may vaguely remember texting Alyson last night, now he just needs to pray she doesn't tell Jess considering what good friends those two are.

Marisela was up bright and early to practice too, while Terell headed out to perform sing a grams.

O. M. G. OF COURSE!!! Thank simgods Rayne was there to put him out! She just left Hunter miraculously floating in the air and whipped out the ol' extinguisher...facepalm...Poor Joanna is flabbergasted, I don't think this is what she had in mind for a congratulatory sing a gram.

Somehow that earned him a promotion and a cool new work outfit, so he just went right back to working! Fingers crossed the only thing on fire now is Terrell's career!

Meanwhile back at home...Girl! You are close to your second trimester if not already in it! What Are You Doing!!?? These sims are all so messy and chaotic, I swear!

Blaine hit up Saucy Jack's after another so-so date with Brianna. I honestly don't know how much longer these two will last, but who knows, this save always keeps me guessing!

Lit on Leisure Day

The next day was Leisure Day and clearly everyone in this household could use a little escape from their problems! Time to plan a party at the Splash Pad! OMG! Bahahahaha!! Apparently, Alyson is already at the festival and having some fun!

Sooo...Both Blaine and Terrell invited their girlfriends to the party. Brianna flat out no showed, and Jess showed up just to stay for two minutes and peace out! Nice...real nice...

At least the little boys were having fun! Jerrod and Krista pigged out at the hot dog eating contest and Lloyd met up with Mom, Alyson, at the karaoke bar?? I guess it DOES serve food so okay, whatever, sims take their babies and toddlers in here all the time anyway.

Maybe the girlfriends all blew them off, but Terrell was determined to have a good time.

And clearly he did, LOL! Just mean muggin it while he busts a move with Sheree!

Blaine had another drink at home and called one more time to invite Brianna to the party.

And she decided to actually show up! Yay!

Brianna even brought him along to a formal party at the Gillis household after the day of swimming.

The rest of the band mates went home where Terrell received an unexpected call from Alyson.

Being intoxicated he replied with a woohooty text...He rolled the want, what can I say...thankfully she declined.

He went to bed, frustrated, but hopeful about his career.

Another Awkward Date

As night fell, Blaine gave it another try with Brianna. She invited him over, but he was perhaps more surprised than me at this point to discover Clark already there. I don't know exactly what they were doing before I followed Blaine over, but given Clark's sometimes shady behavior and the fact he would not leave and kept interrupting the two love birds, I got the distinct impression Blaine was the third wheel. It was getting late, and Blaine IS Brianna's actual boyfriend so he asked to spend the night.

To my surprise, she said yes! Hmm...maybe I am just being paranoid after all...

Or not...Look at the looks on both their faces! Of course, they could be noticing the state of Petunia and all those fleas.

Those fleas must really be bothering her, she started barking at everyone!

So...Clark finally left, at this point I'm wondering what Edith really thinks about his pretty questionable behavior...I didn't have much time to wonder though, because no sooner did he leave than Antonio McAlister showed up!! What is going on here!? Now, Clark, has been in flirtations many times over the years, but Antonio showing up in the middle of the night? This one really surprises me. Then Dmitri showed up with Hannah for about two seconds! Are they all just really good platonic friends?? I don't know to be honest, but it is suspect at the very least, and Blaine was NOT impressed. I'm beginning to realize why Brianna's relationships never last. Even if this IS all innocent, I can see how her close friendships or more could strain a romance.

After all of that and being growled at by an itching, starving Petunia Blaine decided he not to stay the night...Can't say that I blame him.

The rest of the night played out with Lloyd doing some mid night fishing ON HIS OWN! Where is the supervision in this household!

Blaine's puppy rolling around in puddles and just generally being adorable.

What is Going on Here!!??

First thing in the morning...??? Okay?? First off, Marisela obviously has the glitch of becoming truly invisible when naked...also...Girl! Why are you putting away everyone else's laundry naked!!?? Terrell has literal stink lines while he waits for the shower and neither of these two is at all bothered by her current state of dress...You guys...there are children running around here somewhere!

After he FINALLY got to take his shower I decided to have Terrell start a blog for the band to drum up some extra publicity.

Blaine decided to take the kids to the park and get some extra practice in while he was at it.

Back home, Wade practiced and Marisela hired a much needed maid after finally putting some clothes on!

Terrell, for his part, got in a good work out at the gym.

I Don't Know that I'll be Posing Another Wedding Soon

By afternoon, practice was winding down. Jerrod was off to do some light fishing. Wow! He's quite the little angler!

Blaine headed downtown to meet up with Brianna for a date, but wound up singing alone in an empty bar when she ditched him.

I don't know what happened, but it must have been traumatizing for both of them! Brianna wound up in need of a sing a gram to cheer her up! Ironically from the only singer in town...her ex-fiancé, Terrell, whom she frequently stalks...when she's not stalking Reggie of course...

Blaine, I love Brianna, but maybe you should just run in the other direction at this point.

Blaine nursed his wounds by adopting an adorable puppy that I can't remember the name of because again, yeah...this gameplay has been on my computer waiting to be queued up since last October!

This poor guy!! Welcome to being playable Blaine, at this point being abducted by aliens is a rite of passage in this play through!

They Wasted NO Time

As you may recall, while I was on rotation with the Jones's I decided to get Zombie Roommate back together and move them all in together! I had Blaine officially enter the band career because if they fail to take off again I wanted to ensure Terrell wouldn't lose his progress in the singing profession, but at least now everyone is available for practice and jam sessions. Fingers crossed they get an actual gig soon!

And now that the band members are playable, I'm learning some interesting things about them! Wade! Actively dating a married townie, I'm surprised! The drama in this town never ends...facepalm...

Terrell...LOL! Are you trying to go for some Twisted Sister vibes here!?? I really need to download that mod that banishes the cheerleader pigtails!

At least we're back at Terrell's old place now, but geeze! What...A...Mess!! And of course before I switched households Wade adopted a daughter (who sadly is mostly left to her own devices so you'll hardly see her in this rotation) so I had to add an extra bed to ensure Jerrod and Lloyd had somewhere to sleep. It IS summer so they're with their dad for my time in this household.

Marisela seems to be practicing for the upcoming birth of her own child, but where is Terrell?

Ahh...yes...of course...Gettin tipsy and telling ghost stories at 7am...facepalm! Also, this is one of the only pictures I got of Wade's daughter, Krista I think...gosh I'm so bad LOL.

The rest of the morning was mostly spent practicing! Until Lloyd came in to interrupt his dad and complain about the noise.

I know I JUST posted this picture of poor Juliana after she spontaneously combusted from some incredibly hot chili, but I have to point out... Like Mother, like Daughter 🤣 Of course Adriana blew herself up at the chemistry station during round one, but still! 😂 This screenshot is even from Thomas's bachelor party while Juliana's chili incident was at the Jone's latest Love Day party 🤣😂

Leaving Them in a Better Place

Here we are on our last day with the Jones's! Thomas is chatting up the local paparazzi outside of work. And the kids had a field trip today!

Sounds safe...LOL!

Well at least these little troublemakers had a good time!

And after school Tana is attending a much-needed study group.

And it paid off! She may be stressed, but over the week with lots of hard work and help from her parents, she's gone from an F to a B! What a way to end the school year!

The rest of the night was pretty quiet. Homework, a little screen time.

You may remember that when Alicia gave birth, she named the child Shayla, but the next day, the paper said Katy...guess my game decided on Shayla after all...such a weird glitch...Anyway, little Shayla/Katy Baldwin has aged up!

Thomas is enjoying his last evening of Spring on the slip and slide.

Corinna enjoyed a good ol cup of Joe before helping Tana finish up her last assignment before Summer Break and once the kids were in bed she and Thomas enjoyed some nice time together. I consider this week a success!

A Slower Day

Candice Marks and Elisha Gibbs aged up overnight!

And someone's loose dog is chasing off the mailman! Is that a stray? I don't recognize it.

Dmitri got promoted, Kyle got demoted, and Dante completed an opportunity for school which raised his grade!

Thomas is still hard at work trying to increase his gardening and handiness to gain back some of the promotions he's lost over the last several years. Meanwhile, Karim is going to be home a little late, he's got a Scout's meeting tonight!

Tana got in trouble again for watching TV instead of doing her homework.

There we go! Thomas is helping Dante, and Corinna is helping Tana. Hopefully now everyone will be getting on track.

OMG! I didn't even know these two were an item! Looks like Terrell's house is going to be even MORE crowded soon! Geesh, my plans never work out when I try to interfere with my sims lives.

What?? Wow! Imagine after all these years and Brianna may wind up with Blaine of the bookstore!

Omygosh! Bahahahaha!! Poor Terrell! Clearly I have to pull you into CAS pronto!
