A note about my blog. As many other users have experienced lately, I've come across several seemingly random posts of mine that are flagged as mature content. My content is based off of the Sims gameplay which is rated T for teen. I make every effort to keep my content at the most PG-13. I have submitted claims for many of these posts already, but if you see one flagged, it is nothing you wouldn't see in a PG or PG-13 rated movie.
Ever wonder how you can follow my playthroughs from the beginning? Well look no further, because here it is!
My Current Aging Options
I have my aging options tweaked for maximum time with each of my families on rotation without having to turn off story progression!

Here you will find pictures from the making of my completed worlds and current WIP’s!
My Current Playthrough's
Here you will find the saves I have been playing extensively and plan to for quite a while, a set of series of sorts! There will be a link to a separate master list for each of these as I play, post and update my Simblr!

Do you use the NRaas mods? Has the information on the NRaas website and forum ever been useful to you? If so, a moment of your time please!
I’d like to share the current situation with Simblr – which you can also read about directly from the site owner here:
https://www.nraas.net/community/topic15428
While it seemed like we were entering an era of old-internet revival and indie websites in the fight against the dead-internet, a significant road block has emerged. Prices have inflated drastically for server parts, memory, storage, and server-hosting itself. This puts all non-profit online communities in peril.
As a result, the site owner has opened a Patreon so that the community can help cover the costs of keeping us online.
Important clarification:
The NRaas mods are NEVER going to be paywalled.
The project will remain open-source and free for everyone. Donations are optional.
These mods are still in active development!
The site and mods have been maintained by Chain_Reaction since Twallan's retirement, providing countless updates and support. Lots of cool stuff over there if you haven't updated in a hot minute.
There is no pressure to donate if your situation does not allow for it. Thank you for the consideration!
Long post ahead with information on the situation and some incentives for reaching membership goals.
If you've had some trouble accessing the site over the past week or so:
The situation is directly caused by the greed and encroachment of something we’re all uncomfortably familiar with: AI companies and the companies investing in them (of simmer relevance, that includes EA and Krafton (InZoi)).
NRaas is not the first nor will it be the last to be affected. Website servers already suffer from bots trawling and scraping their content – including your content that you write and share just about anywhere. Now they’re being bought off entirely.
Archives and file-hosting are at high risk. Myrient is a recent example of an archive that went offline for this very reason.
It can feel a bit grim, but I want to assure you that the burden isn't yours to bear as an individual. As a community, it's actually quite easy to become hostile - and more important, unprofitable - to these invasive species as it were.
The past 26 years of modding and storytelling was OVERWHELMINGLY built upon free software, non-profit websites, and shared resources. A few unscrupulous paywallers and corporate greed isn't going to rewrite that history. Greed is the minority - but it does try to eat everything in its path.
That's all I ask - if you enjoy the fruits of The Sims community or enjoy being a part of it, make it just a little more inconvenient to swallow us.
Do not tolerate GenAI in our community spaces.
Do not support EA or Krafton. Let obscurity and irrelevancy devour them.
Do participate in the community wherever you think you'd find a little piece of purpose - make a blog for your stories, come chat with us in the Chatterbox forum at NRaas, make your first mod.
Lastly:
In a separate post, I'll be posting some CC incentives that will be released as milestones are reached. This content will not be paywalled - it will be posted for free as thanks to the community.
This is being offered on my own accord and is not the official reward for any particular tier. None of the proceeds are going to me!
Please look out for that over the weekend, I still need to take all of the preview screenshots which is perhaps the least exciting part of making CC.
And thank you, on behalf of the volunteers at NRaas.
All the building I've been doing lately has me worn out and life is getting crazy again! I'm going to take another short break from social media so I'll be pretty inactive for the next week or so. ( Hopefully not too long!)
Checking out of social media and all the status updates and sharing can feel so liberating sometimes!
Here we are at the last day with the Noel's already! The boys are off to school alongside the McCalister kids, but it looks like they're having some trouble getting on the bus.
I'm still needing to fix up that carpet, but look at cute little Otis!! SQUEE!!
The other thing I need to do before my time with the Noel's is up is sort out some of those collections! Billy collects gems and stones and stuff and for Forrest, it's bugs!
Otis spent the day outside. Spring is definitely on the way, just look at those snowmen melting!
Billy earned a performance boost at work and analyzed some more of his rocks!
Rayne earned a promotion!
Oh dear! The boys must be on a field trip and Aric is causing trouble!
Oh no! Forrest too! Oh dear...they ARE at Billy's place of work!
Well at least they both got souvenirs...come to think of it, I sure hope they were actually given to them! Also...Aric wants to host a tea party! So cute!
Forrest went to contemplate life after the field trip...maybe he was waiting for Marsha to get off work.
He may have a bit of a wait...facepalm! Looks like you boys are all eating leftovers tonight!
That's right...tax time! And Marsha happens to be in the political career so she's the lucky sim to collect taxes tonight before I switch households. I can't believe the Torrez/Bright family STILL can't afford taxes! Doesn't Method have a job!? That's three incomes!
Ooof! It's been a bit since I doled out money to each of the city funded accounts...anyway, at least the city is doing well!
Even after sending out refunds!
And so we say goodbye to the Noel household for now. Otis will likely be gone when we drop in on them again and at least Forrest should be a teen. Life changes quickly in the sims world!
Yikes! This house is looking trashed! I think it may be time for a few more upgrades.
How can you guys study in that mess?
Marsha has had it! It's time to clean up a little, now if all those boys would only help!
Forrest is finally on his way home after a scout meeting.
You know what? Nobody better even TRY to complain about that burned to a crisp Goopy Carbonara! Maybe if they'd been helping you clean up around the place, you could have paid more attention to the stovetop!
Alright, at least Billy cleaned up after dinner so Marsha could head to bed early.
Oh man...Thomas is officially an adult now...I just can't wait to see what kind of midlife crisis's he has considering he's been in a downward spiral for a couple of sim years now!
Snowflake Day started with yet ANOTHER hairball! Poor Otis, he's getting old, I don't think he'll be around by the next time I get back to this household.
Meanwhile Terrell spent the Holidays with his kids over at Allyson's house. Not gonna lie, I'm still kind of bummed it couldn't work out between them, but it is honestly for the best. Their relationship was not healthy.
Back at our household, after breakfast, Everyone got dressed and ready to head out for some fun family time.
And it looks like it's going to be a beautiful day! Marsha took the boys to the park to play with the Jones kids for a bit, but the Winter Festival won't be in town forever!
And it looks like Terrell had to work for a bit after spending time with Jerrod and Lloyd. Gotta grind if you want to make it as a rockstar!
Thankfully this performance wasn't interrupted by rude sims who drop their screaming toddlers on the front of the stage IN THE MIDDLE of a performance! LOL! I'm lookin at you Ida!
Aaaand apparently everyone in our household was underwhelmed by the performance and the festival itself because by the time I finished getting photos of Terrell Singing they'd all run off again! The boys played football and tag outside.
And speaking of Ida, Marsha was invited to a party at the Gale household where she danced...alone...in their office/spare room. LOL! Sims are so weird! Oh look! Rayne showed up by the end of the night too!
It took me a minute to find Billy. He was down at Saucy Jack's telling his troubles to the bartender.
Oh Billy...you're looking a wee bit toasted...
Oh! OMG! He IS! And he's fighting with the bartender...and losing! Oh Good Grief...what is wrong with all these sims!?
Finally, everyone is starting to get home and settle in for the evening.
We finish out the night with Otis being freaked out by Bucktooth and another toddler aging up in the town!
OMG! There's so much snow that it's burying whatever those stink lines are coming off of!
Hmm...judging by the fact that everyone else is at work or school, I have a feeling it may be a hairball and not an old dirty dish.
Boy! Work at City Hall must have been stressful today!
Marsha was having a nice little chat with Reggie when I spotted someone...
That's right! Brianna out for a walk with Petunia and wearing the same winter coat as Marsh no less! Geesh Brianna! OF COURSE you just HAPPEN to be walking Petunia right past the building you surely know Reggie is in...
I decided that was enough stress relief time for Marsha. She's working on a promotion and needs to improve her charisma skill to get it!
Billy decided to spend his night playing some computer games. Not something I do at all... X)
He finally tired of gaming and sat down on the floor to play with the boys toys instead. Maybe he was trying to tell Aric screentime was over!
Marsha didn't have any time with the boys tonight, but hey! At least she managed to get that charisma skill! She ended the night feeling quite fulfilled!
It's winter again and here we are with the Noel household! Marsha, that is some interesting outdoor wear! Aren't you cold!?
Aww, Otis must have been out hunting in the snow all night! Better get back home and warm up inside!
Meanwhile, both boys have now reached childhood! Love the muscleman jammies Aric! LOL! And Forrest is holding Court. I just love when the kids play dress up like that!
OMG! Is that another Bucktooth Butternut hiding behind the bed! LOL! Those gnomes are always spawning around this household!
Anyway, it was a weekend or a snow day. I honestly don't remember because it was as usual so long ago that I actually played this week in rotation. What I DO remember is that Billy got a phone call from some townies who are friends with the household for a playdate! So adorable that even townies bring the kids over to visit! I know I've said it before, but I am a huge fan of story progression in Sims 3! It's honestly one of the reasons I find it hard to go back to Sims 2 and have never been into Sims 4. I love that my sims carry on with their lives without my intervention!
Billy played hide and seek with the boys and their guests while Marsha went to a party at the Marks house and spent most of it out in the snow playing with Maggie!
Oh dear...Facepalm! Of course, Dmitri and Sheree both went to bed and just left Marsha to put their kids to sleep. LOL! Sims 3 parties...gotta love 'em!
Time to go back home and get some rest, so I leave you with views of the beautiful winter night, and Otis in full stretch mode!
Okay so because I still don't have time today to queue up the Noel household in Redwood Harbor, enjoy a few more pictures from Pickerling Cove!
I DO love some grungier, industrial builds! The junkyard in town turned out just so perfect! And because the railroad going through the city is a pretty prominent feature I had to make a proper Train Depot. As you can see I need to go back into CAW and adjust the height of that railroad track! 😂 Anyway, that pedestrian bridge is only decorative, but in testing I discovered that it IS functional! The animation gets a little wonky as the Sims walk up and down the incline and Tessarina would only use the stairs on the parking lot side, but honestly I was surprised she could cross it at all, so I'll take that as a win!
Another cabin out at Trotter Lake! I'm not too sure yet how happy I am with the shape of it. Ideally, it would be a true A-frame, but I managed to get three bedrooms in this one and I kinda don't want to sacrifice any more room on the interior... we'll see...I may still fiddle with it some.
Girl, WHAT ARE YOU WEARING!? 😂
I realized I'd never actually tested my dive bar, so Oscar headed over ( Tessarina was too tired) and he met this lady who was dressed to impress and really hit it off!
On a side note I DID run into a weird glitch. The divebar is inside a Late Night shell and it functions just fine, but the debug box for the door is visible for some reason. I'm sure it's an easy fix, I've just never encountered it before because I've never really built lots with shells from scratch before 🤷
I still haven't had the time to refill my queue, but y'all we are officially in single digits!! That's right! I have only 9 lots to complete and I have verified my method of copying lots without using the batch file DOES in fact work! I even captured some footage I plan to post to YouTube soon, when I make time for it that is. In the meantime the Art Gallery is COMPLETE. The Aquarium is COMPLETE. And thanks to this video by Angela Ester, I now have a gameplan to complete my "Jenga Tower" the way I want to!!
No post today. I was going to fill my queue with the next household in Redwood Harbor, but decided to knock out the Art Museum in Pickerling Cove instead and...it...is...a... massive pain in the behind! No pictures of it though because I want to leave some surprises for you when I release the world 😁 It is nowhere near as complicated or cool as the real life inspiration, but I'm pretty happy with how it's turning out!
As of right now I still have 14 lots to complete, but it's getting there! Tessarina and Oscar are a little lonely in version 2, but it was really clogging up the old version to do so much extensive building while also allowing SP to run my whole population around which was not only fun for my poor game on its own, but also making it hard to tell what was actual lag from problems in world versus my game just trying to handle all of those rapid changes! I was pleasantly surprised that the world file doesn't seem as large as I was worried it was getting. Still there is a lot left to build out and a lot of testing!
More random pictures around Pickerling Cove Part 1
Can you guess what this building is?
Also, you may notice that some pictures have a few more bushes along the running path surrounding the lake and that is because I've finally reached the point in CAW where I've reworked what I wanted to from version 1 of Pickerling Cove and have installed version 2 to complete building and testing! You'll see me phase out of that old version as I continue to finish building!
While Clark was at the library with Annie Edith earned a promotion!
Not wanting to get into any more trouble, Grace DID stay home the entire day today! Playing video games which apparently is allowed while grounded! Facepalm...you can't go to school or your ballet recital while grounded, but you can play all the video games you want!
Hey look! It's Maggie! On a now rare outing downtown. Is she trying to tell Sheree it's time to go home?
Woot woot! Happy birthday to yet another toddler who's aged up!
We say goodbye to the Marks family with some more adorable pictures of their life!
