On Melancholy Hill - Gorillazprobably one of my fav chill out songs and it’s also by one of my fav bands \o/ i rly like the synths on this one as well, they make it suuper relaxing

A Sadness Runs Through Him - The Hoosiersi mean the title kinda speaks for itself :///// but this is definitely one of their edgier songs it’s just,,,,,so depressing

T: a lovesong

Valentine - Fiona Applethis is kind of a sad lovesong about unrequited love but ahhhh i just love how much emotion she sings with like in all of her songs she’s so visceral i love it. 

V: a non-english song

Amar Pelos Dois - Salvador Sobralyes this is Portugal’s ebtry to Eurovision this year. yes i desperately want this to win. yes i am obsessed with this boy. protect him. also this is another song about unrequited love but like,,,after the relationship it’s v sad.

like the title literally means ‘love for two’ and in the context of the song it’s painful

(lmao rmb a couple of months ago when we kept teasing each other abt our crushes)

i’m definitely having romo feelings towards multiple ppl atm but idk if they’d qualify as crushes

28. Do you think long distance relationships can work?

yeah! a lot of ppl find it harder than short distance relationships (do u call them that? u know what i mean) but i do think they can work.

1. talk about the first time you watched your favourite movie

i don’t even know what my favourite movie is tbh. i’m just gonna talk abt ‘Pride’ bc i love that movie. the first time i watched it was on rabb.it in someone i follow’s rabb.it room. for the first twenty minutes or so the sound on my laptop wasn’t working but once i fixed that i had a great time watching it. i rmb it being rly early in the morning, i think it was around 4am? i think i’d slept a lot the day before so i wasn’t v tired. i watched it on my laptop while sitting on my bed curled up in my blankets and it was v fun!! the other ppl were rly lovely to me in the chat even though we didn’t know each other.

8. talk about the thing you are most proud of

maybe how i’m learning to take care of myself? like i’m letting myself rest more without beating myself up abt it so much, and i’m figuring out what to do when i have a depressive episode or an anxiety attack.

also the poetry recital competition i did last year at school, and co-hosting this year’s one w my pal!!

11. talk abt the best dream you’ve ever had

the one that comes to mind is one where me and three of my friends (including u @epicukulele and @tina-turnup) are having a sleepover and none of us are able to sleep so we go to get snacks, and for some reason we have giant pieces of fruit so we eat that, and we cuddle up together on a double bed.

i’m not actually sure? it was either my mum, my friend Tin, one of my best mates who i don’t think likes being named on here, or my friend James.

11. what does the most recent text that you sent say?

ok so i’m on the laptop rn and i might edit this afterwards on my phone (vice versa to usual!) but it’s that teethy emoji, the one that’s just baring its teeth? i think it’s supposed to be smiling, otherwise that text i sent was unintentionally aggressive.

19. do you like bubble baths!

yes! although i don’t love them. i might like them a bit better if the bathtub at my house was bigger bc it’s pretty shallow and i can’t stretch my legs out fully. but it’s not really a big deal. i mostly shower anyway.
