andromeda never thought hearing such a thing would hurt her as much as it did. all she saw in front of her was a girl with a heart as bright as her flaming locks, someone who was aching to break free from chains bound by her own family. she saw herself in a sense. she, too, was a little girl wanting to break free, and she did. andromeda had the guidance, she had the support — everything 𝚊𝚕𝚎𝚌𝚝𝚘 𝚕𝚊𝚌𝚔𝚎𝚍. andromeda wanted to be that person for her, the one to offer support. the woman frowned, her eyes falling on the auburn-haired girl.

                                       “ at least we’ll both be beautiful and stay forever young ”        daphne tried to laugh, but it sounded as grim as she felt. it wasn’t as if they both didn’t know what the future awaited for them. after you picked a side,  it was all or nothing.  either you won the war or you accept your fate. and daphne honestly didn’t know which destiny scared her the most.

it was the stress catching up to him and cedric knew that in his heart.   but it didn’t make it hurt less. he was tired and, as much as he loved being one of the champions on the tournament, it was a bigger responsibility than he was ready to. being the center of attention was proving to be too much to cedric.                                                       “ i can’t help but feeling like i’m all alone ”

     “You’re talkin’ to one of the few non-Slytherin students who endure private tutorin’ with Professor Snape.” She’s out of sorts and though she’s trying for her usual easygoing personality, she’d snapped at another student and bolted from class. While the Head of Slytherin house was skilled at Legillimency he’d slipped in protecting himself from the witch and the images she’d seen, though scattered and brief, felt ominous and settled over her shoulders like a heavy woolen blanket. The images left her feeling cornered and edgy but still Jessica tried to cover herself, her smile warming some as she turned her attention back to Goyle, “I’ll be fine, it was just a particularly difficult lesson today. I’m just tired. I appreciate the concern, though.”
