I saw a post about the rarer dynamics (ex: Deltas), might you have any hcs for Iotas and Epsilons? Mating or not, eithers fine
I am not actually well versed in rarer dynamics. My understanding of them is basically that they are in like a “second wave”/revival of omegaverse to add more subgenders and fill in gaps in the hierarchy of subgenders. But, to aid in my understanding, I will research it more in-depth!
Edit: aight I just confused myself in battle. So, to help, here's the hierarchy (I like organizing these kinds of stuff lol): Alpha, Epsilon, Beta/Delta, Iota, then Omega. There are other dynamics mixed in too but I’ll focus on this because I’m already dazed and confused. All of my thoughts always go for traditional dynamics but these added dynamics make it easier for writers to get their ideas across and not feel contained to the original three.
Now that I’ve looked more at it, the dynamic between an Alpha and an Iota would be quite interesting. I always tend to think that the main character trait of Alphas (in general) is protectiveness, all ends of the spectrum of being protective. I don’t think that would change with an Iota even if they do not have all the characteristics of an Omega. All I’m getting while thinking about this is an angry little iota absolutely WHOPPING ass and skipping over to an Alpha absolutely stunned that they got shown up by their baby.
I would also say that an Epsilon would most often have the characteristic of being a shield (like protectiveness but less so????) I see Alphas and Epsilons as being very similar but the Alpha would still get the first pick on anything. it would be interesting to see a relationship of an Epsilon and an Alpha; I can only imagine the dynamics of a relationship like that as being like some powerhouse lovers shit. Two determined individuals with a strong protective drive... sounds like angst with a good ending if you know what I mean lol.
The other relationship that might be interesting would be a Delta and an Iota. I feel like this would be different from a relationship between an Omega and a Beta. I just feel like it would be softer, more cottagecore, all fluff and little angst.
I don’t really have anything specific if give you because I haven’t in-depth thought out any of this but hopefully it gave you some food for thought.
