❝ you’re not alone. i’m right here. ❞ / @epitaffia
The Joestar listens in silence as he sits in the chair across from the pink haired male. Jotaro had decided that since it was a nice day, research was needed for his latest task and ended up bringing Doppio along with him. In the few months since meeting the other, he found that they had a shared interesting in marine life. He supposed, though, that may be why they connected as they had, weirdly enough.
However, his thoughts had been haywire recently, with the fact that he'd been not the greatest father he should have been to Jolyne. He could remember when she was born that excitement ran through his veins, that the nerves were so high he feared he'd drop the little one just mere moments after her birth. Somewhere along the way, Jotaro distanced himself from his family - an idea that came to mind on the fact of protecting them from what was left of DIO's followers. They didn't need to be harmed in all of this, not when the beef was with him as he had been the one to kill the vampire.
And of course, there was the occasional thought of loneliness that got pushed aside in favor of his work. Companionship was missed, but he didn't want to bring another soul into his perimeter - in case something happened. And Jotaro was quite aware that Doppio had not been purely innocent, either. But still, he was trying to change and work better for himself so the ravenette could understand. But when those words are said, the biologist tenses a moment, teals shifting to focus on the other male. His head tilts as his hat shadows over the eyes, a small quirk given ".....They all have said that. Ultimately in the end; they've all gone." The words rumble in that deep baritone, his gaze once more locks on to Doppio, "You sure you wanna be stuck around someone who has a hell of a lot on his shoulders?"
