I have decided that I'll take my hiatus a bit earlier. Stress has been eating at me, and no matter how much I may want to write at the moment, it's just not possible. It wouldn't come out right and it would only frustrate me. This trip has been in the works since November, but it's the reality that this is finally happening that's hitting. Things will be worked on behind the scenes and queued, but consistent writing will not take place.

Intimacy can happen in so many ways. Hugs and kisses, through intercourse, or just by simply being in one another's presence. Jotaro doesn't mind simple touches; hand holding, finger traces to the arms or wrist. While he's never been big on PDA, if his partner needs something such as a hug, or a forehead kiss in assurance, hugging tightly, he'll do it. When it's in private, though, he'll offer more kisses. He'll let his partner lay across his chest, a chance to listen to the heartbeat. Sometimes he may also run his fingers through their hair, or give a massage to the shoulders and back.

Getting wounded wasn't new to Jotaro.

Going his entire teenage life getting beaten; kicked at, scratched, punched; ect. Inflicting said wounds on his aggressors when he was able to do so, leaving them something to remember him by. Making sure that they knew not to fuck around with him. But this had been different, this wasn't a typical beating he'd taken. He was protecting someone, which was also not different to him because he spent a good portion of his life protecting. But when was the last time someone had taken care of him? When was the last time someone had sat here, patiently tending to a wound on his person?

It was definitely a long while ago.

Currently, he'd sat completely still for the woman. Coat laid out beside him, hat still upon his head, body aching and trembling from the adrenaline rush. He wasn't going to sit by idly and allow her to be harmed. His mother raised him better than that, no matter how much he'd despised most women growing up. When the wound burned, stinging along his arm a soft grimace appeared upon his features. Some may say the pain could have been a lot worse, but it's the slight sting that actually makes it worse. Pain, full on pain, didn't bat an eye at. Stinging? Even paper cuts were enough to make the man wince.

So, a lot of the activities he did with his family were mostly going to the aquarium, to the beach grit anything related to his love of marine life. He always looked forward to it, always got excited - even if he never outwardly showed it in his teen years.

As an adult; he still becomes excited but it's because he's sharing that love with his family as an adult.

Dating Jotaro allows for special things to take place. Normally, he wouldn't take teasing. But dating him? He allows it and you either get a 'fuck off', hat tug and flushed face, or just him turning his head. Sometimes, you might even get a small pout when he's feeling particularly soft.

It was still raining but the sky was a lighter gray as the morning began to seep into the master suite of the penthouse. Last night was one of the worst storms Domino had and yet, the sounds of the outside didn't disturb the two men. Kaiba could still feel nails against his skin, could still feel the sweat and the heat of contact. He remembered the way Jotaro has said his name and it rattled the steel within him.

He never dreamt of anyone saying his name like that before.

The CEO was still on his back, albeit the slightest stiff, as he watched the other sit up in his bed. Sapphire eyes lingered on the bare, visible skin. He saw some of his own indents from his nails and the grip he had against him. Slowly, he sits up as well. His back straight among his pillows as his sheets pool just below his waist.

"Seeing how things go hasn't been a strong...point in my life. I have always been capable of never doing anything halfway. Once I have made a decision, it is final beyond negotiation." He runs his hand through the chestnut hair, brushing a few strands back into place along his forehead. "However, the fact of the matter that you are still here in my home. I could have easily thrown you out of the bed and out of the penthouse at any time."

His eyes go to the window. "If I didn't 'actually like you', as you put it, we wouldn't have even gotten remotely close."

That last statement had gotten a snort out of the Joestar. That was true, if he's honest. Had neither of the two had any sort of emotion towards one another, this wouldn't have ever happened between them. Jotaro wasn't one for one night stands, even if the opportunity presented itself to him, he'd always prided himself on his self control. And even then he had to have a connection of some sort with the other person.

And it was also true that he could have been thrown out on his ass. Lips quirk slightly at the words as he leans back, upper torso stretching out. The scientist listens to the brunette, eyes closing as he raises an arm and rests his head against it, "Could have, yeah." Came the rumbled response, head turning as eyes open and land on the other once more, "Could have done a lot of things between then and now." He responded, taking a breath.

And yet; they were here.

Jotaro could never deny the strong pull that Kaiba had on him. It scared him to an extent, crumbling every bit of the wall he'd built over the years.

That terrified him in so many ways.

His arm lowers, though his hand rakes down his face as he releases a breath. He remembers conversations in the past with Avdol, about opening up to someone you'd trust. Funny how that came up in this moment. He can't stop the chuckle that leaves him, though he puts the thought aside for the time being. Silence is all that is given for the time being, before he slowly reaches out - hesitant, maybe? Large fingers lightly graze against the other man's wrist, then enclose as he gently grips.

"I get it." Jotaro responds softly, teals focused upon the wrist in his grasp, "That's a way of telling me we're already dating." A grin flashes across his features at that.

At the mention of her father and the stupid little crab, Jotaro silently thanked whatever higher being he could at the idea. He wasn't entirely ready to meet with the King of the Sea, and he wasn't sure he could handle the constant nagging of a crab who over thought and worried so much. But when she mentioned Flounder and Scuttles - a talking fish and bird? At least that's what he remembers her mentioning, it sounded absolutely ridiculous in so many ways.

When she'd asked him not to get so irritated - or, rather angry as she worded, teals looked toward the redhead for a moment. If the bird was as loud and annoying as he sounded, he wasn't going to make any promises. ".....Not making any promises on that."
