lydia being a driven body looking at jackson feelings
When Lydia tries to invite Jackson to her party, he's not Jackson. He has the blank, silent, robotic look; he's basically the kanima 24/7 now. He's confused as to what Lydia is and reacts with disinterest because Lydia is not his master and she is not a murderer: he has no agenda. And Peter's orders were everyone needs to be at the party, but Holland's face just looked Lydia again. I saw Lydia overriding Peter's will and manipulating it for herself. Maybe because for a moment Peter's order and her will are the same? So here's Lydia's autonomy taking because she wants Jackson and knows exactly how to have him: that she can touch his arm and break the kanima's control. Like she reached into everything Peter knows, and pulled this out of herself. Lydia uses her immunity to get Jackson.
And Colton's face changes too. I could see the kanima's Jackson skin slipping off and there was the mess that is Jackson the kid. And for two seconds it's Jackson and Lydia looking at each other instead of Matt and Peter, scared out of their teenage minds with Lydia stronger (Jackson might know about werewolves but he doesn't know Matt, Lydia doesn't know about werewolves but she knows Peter horrifically intimately) and wanting him and that's why he's here. Their stories built up so brutally from S1 stare each other in the face. Their bodies were everything to them, and they don't have them anymore. They're out, above water and breathing, but every second is a struggle. And Jackson's instinct in his lucidity is to get Lydia to understand that he is dangerous. 'You do not want me there.' Jackson might have no idea what's going on, but he does know he has no will of his own. Jackson knows if he's going to the party, it won't be him driving his body there. Maybe if Lydia doesn't want him there, it will be enough (because Lydia is a damn queen okay).
But the moment is gone. Lydia needs everyone to be at the party. She trots off a mad, vicious little doll. Jackson's eyes shift. They're under and swallowed up again.
