Congratulations Mel! You’ve been accepted as Dorcas Meadowes ( as Kailey Hsu ). I really enjoyed Dorcas as a character you’ve interpreted, and she has an interesting backstory. I’ve always had a soft spot in my heart for characters who have a little trouble with feelings and people in general. Congratulations Rae! You’ve been accepted as Alice Cavalcante ( as Bruna Tenorio ). I really loved how you’ve reinterpreted Alice as a character, changing her last name to fit into her ethnicity to show that there isn’t diversity just for diversity’s sake. I think that is really important. I also really enjoyed how you characterised Alice as headstrong because I do see her characterised sometimes as someone more gentle and caring, and it’s a refreshing change! Congratulations Cheyenne! You’ve been accepted as Augustus Rookwood ( as Bob Morley ). I find Augustus so very interesting as a character, especially with the special brand of dynamics ( and possibly even conflict ) I’m sure he will bring into the Protectors and the Undergrounders. It makes excited just thinking about it and what it can bring. I loved the amount of detail you put into him, like how you envision gender for him differently through different Cycles and the bits of elaboration about him that helped me understand him better as a character you’ve developed and owned. Congratulations Christine! You’ve been accepted as Regulus Black, with an undecided face claim ( a message will be sent about that ). I really enjoyed Regulus’ backstory and how you’ve adapted it from canon. It’s truly an interesting take of it and I think my heart broke a little reading what happened to them in the end even though I should’ve expected it.
