Eponis’ Horses
Eponis grew up on a stable, but that was the closest thing she had to a pet. Most of her involvement with them wasn’t all that personal aside from picking up on which ones where easier to ride and work with. The friendliest was a red Imperial thoroughbred they named Gingersnap. Ginger was good with new people, and while they got spooked quite easily they were Eponis’ favourite as Ginger was the only horse to stay throughout her childhood, while the others where sold or had died.
That’s the closest for either of them. Vigor and the brothers would have been too scared to even beg Irnvar, assuming they even got the chance.

Eponis’ Aunts
“I was raised by my aunt. I remember thinking she could be strict sometimes, worrying a lot. But I didn’t feel that way when I got older. She was... gentle? She knew I was more like uncle though. Still, I remember her smiling every time I came home with a pile of books.”
Aunt Cindaia was surprised to hear her brother had a child since the news came completely out of nowhere. She was even more shocked to hear that her brother had ran off and the mother was dead. Her and her husband never managed to have a child of their own for the year they were married before Eponis’ birth. The adoption was hard on her at first, but she eased into it, even though she resents her now missing brother for leaving.
Her uncle Stark has a older sister, but Eponis has never met her as she lived in Sentinel. Though she did once write her a letter as a young child, with all the eloquence and penmanship of a six year old.
Aunt Cindaia was a classic motherly sort. Thinking before speaking softly. Rightly worrying when Eponis would do something reckless like climb trees, which Eponis later released was fair. She happily encouraged Eponis in all her interests, even if her Imperial background didn’t fit as nicely with Eponis want to learn to fight, so it was her uncle who trained her there. Though Eponis called her ‘auntie’, she still saw her as a mother.
Vigor’s Cousins
“I’m afraid I don’t have anyone...”
Vigor’s biological father had an estranged brother several years older than him that he met only a couple times as an adult. He was vulgar and drunk, and hinted to children he didn’t care for. His father never mentioned him for good reason.
His mother was an only child, as was Irnvar. So Vigor has cousins, but neither they or him are aware of this.

Holidays, Cooking & Sleeping
i. There are no particular holidays that capture Eponis’ interest aside from the Serpent’s Dance and Dirij Tereur, neither of which she experienced since while both are Redguard holidays they are only celebrated in the Alik’r desert.
ii. Eponis rarely cooks but knows the basics for most things. She likes some of the heartiness of Nordic food as it’s so welcoming to come in form the cold to. But she still very much misses the flavours and spices back in Rihad.
iii. Eponis sleeps in parts of her day clothes, in case she is forced awake in an emergency, and for extra warmth. There’s always a dagger nearby.
i. Very few people know Vigor all that well and few people know his birthday. It happens to share a day with the Breton holiday Appreciation Day, a thanksgiving devoted to Mara. One year he offered to help a travelling priest cook something nice for the holiday which alone made it his best birthday.
ii. Vigor just loves to cook. He finds it relaxing and enjoys gathering ingredients and spending the time cooking. He prefers camping to staying at inns because of this.
iii. Vigor often sleeps under his family coat. Unless he’s giving his coat to someone who’s cold he has to be pried away from it and the sentimental value it carries.
✿ Is it better to be oblivious or is it better to know the truth?
Eponis has never seen any benefit to ignorance. She deals in truths as an information broker for one thing. She never lets herself be ignorant and is quietly paranoid if she feels something is being hidden from her. The only place for ignorance is in a good mystery. She is not easily affected by even the harshest of truths (though this would be harder if she had much to care for) and will hound the truth of a situation, no matter how dark.
Vigor believes that the truth cannot be ignored forever. The truth may be unpleasant but it at least means something can be done about it, whereas there is nothing that can be done in ignorance. He is easily effected by the truth, but still sees it as better than being oblivious. Vigor is keenly aware of the blissfulness of ignorance, but still prefers to know the truth.
Which side to you support in the civil war?
“What makes you think I care?” It was pretty clear Eponis took no interest the war. Occasionally it effected business, but that was it. If the Nords couldn’t fight the Thalmor without the Empire, then the Empire would have won already; not that she didn’t see the Thalmor’s manipulation through Talos. She’d given it some thought, and saw no reason to get involved.
“I am not involved with either side.” Vigor saw the honor in the Stormcloaks, but wanted to have faith in the Empire. Most of all the war was just painful to see. He had no faith that joining an army would ever help, but even though the list of thieves and bandits never seemed to end, he knew it was helping somehow as a bounty hunter.

Vigor is very patient by his nature. It would have to be some sort of emergency for him to become impatient. Irnvar instilled patience in the brothers by telling them they could have taffy, but they had to wait. Any boy who tried to take the taffy before being told would have their hand smacked away (extra chores if they tried it twice.)
Eponis has no strong political opinions and holds no allegiances aside from connections with the Thieve’s Guild. Though she may be Imperial, she cares little for them aside from benefits to trade routes. She does not trust the Thalmor however and refuses to work with them, firstly because she grew up in occupied Hammerfell and secondly because they could easily kill her if she made herself a ‘lose end’. If she were made to think about it, she could empathize with the Stormcloaks, since she doesn’t feel the Empire could protect Skyrim after renouncing their claim on Hammerfell.
Ernie has no impulse control when it comes to her anger. It’s not completely out of control; say, she wouldn’t punch the Jarl just because they disagree, though their Thane would not be so safe. She has little urges regarding spending, intimacy, and much else, thankfully. But if she’s mad, she’ll not be even slightly tactful about it.
