The more and more I hear about feminism from Terfs the clearer it is that they don't actually believe in it
Weaponizing your misandry and blaming men and trans women for all of your issues is not going to change the fundamental systemic issues with the patriarchy
The easiest way to summarize this is by looking at the treatment between Jeffrey Epstein and his lover:
Jeffrey Epstein died in prison for his crimes (the only issue with this is that each of his victims didn't receive Justice, he got the easy way out)
Ghislane Maxwell is currently sitting in a minimum security prison where she is able to get weekend passes to leave despite having been accused of the same crimes as her partner. There are Court testimonies of children describing being r*ped literally between the two of them. There are children who described being r*ped by Maxwell in tears in court.
And of the two, the man is dead and the woman is sitting in a minimum security prison. Why are none of you supposed feminists outraged by this?
The goal of feminism is equal and equitable treatment between the sexes. And yet, when a woman engages in some of the most horrific crimes that our world has ever seen she gets to sit in a cushy minimum security prison with a f****** pilates class.
Where does all of your outrage go when the offender is a woman? The fact that it is statistically more likely to be a man does not erase the damage that women frequently do. Misandrists tend to forget that they are some of the deadliest soldiers of the patriarchy. That the desire to throw the blame for everything at the feet of men has allowed women to get away with the same crimes.
If a male teacher slept with one of his underage female students it's an immediate scandal worthy of immediate firing and prison time.
If a female teacher sleeps with one of her male students the first reaction from about a third of the West is going to be "well that's not so bad, it's not like she forced him"
The ACT is the same, the damage is the same. The penalty should be the same, but it is often far lesser for women who commit the same crimes as men.
If I proposed lighter gel sentences for men and full sentences for women you would all be rioting in the streets. But right now under the status quo women are actually doing a lot better than men when you discount the rise of fascist movements like the American right in the last 4 years.
In my country, women have more higher paying jobs, lower rates of suicide, higher rates of education, lower jail time...
And that's not inherently a bad thing. One could easily argue that men are doing more bad things than women.
Which is valid, until a bunch of uneducated radfems who have only ever known their privileged experience as (statistically speaking) white middle-aged women. Obviously, all women suffer under the patriarchy but there is a hierarchy of suffering. (Middle-aged white women stand on top of every other woman) try to make claims like "not every man is a rapist but every rapist is a man" and people like me who have experienced being raped by a woman have to sit in silence knowing that if I point out how blurred the lines of inequity are under the patriarchy a bunch of uneducated wine moms will flood my DMs with vitriol
The first time I was raped, the women around me provided me zero comfort. Many of them blamed me for it. The first person to actually comfort me was a man.
I'm no men's rights activist, I don't think that men are a privileged under class or any swill like that... But it's absolutely disgusting to hear people who describe themselves as feminists work for goals that do not coincide with the inherent meaning of feminism.
The perspective of the average radical feminist is rooted in white privilege. There is a reason why most of the radfem movement is amongst the English and the Caucasian population of America. These are heavily intersectional issues that those who serve as the most privileged underclass of the patriarchy seek to uphold. The patriarchy does not exist without the support of the white women who stay above every other woman.
If your idea of feminism is saying that every penis is a weapon: you aren't a feminist, you are a misandrist
And I know that I'm going to get a bunch of so-called feminists arguing with me about this. But before you do, keep in mind that some of us studied this stuff in college.
