I guess absence really does make the heart grow fonder...
Hey there Abbie.
Hell's Kitchen||Adam and Adaddon
Adam had a smile on his face as he moved to close up shop in the spare room-turn-doctor's practice he'd cobbled together. It wasn't much, but it served its purpose and it wasn't really the room that mattered anyway, what mattered is that he finally felt like he was able to help people in the way he'd always dreamed of as a kid. That he was doing some good... funny really how it took something like an apocalypse to give him that chance.
But he didn't linger on that thought, instead focusing on putting the bandages and pills away before quickly heading over to the kitchens where he knew Abby would be waiting for him. He hadn't meant to take so long getting to her but after the last patient had kind of thrown him for a loop with what she'd needed help with, he'd been a little bit distracted and had, honestly, lost track of time for a little bit.
Hopefully she'd forgive him for that though.
He rapped lightly on the kitchen door, poking his head around and grinning when he spotted Abby, "I'm sorry I'm late I know, kinda got a little hectic back there for a while but I'm all closed up now and ready to help. So, where do you want me?"
