one of my new year’s resolutions was to reconnect with little me

I’ve always loved horses and I used to do a lot of horseback riding as a kid. I really really missed it, so I decided to take classes weekly starting this January.

“horseback riding is so easy” okay let me just brain-dump the actual internal monologue of someone trying not to get yeeted into the dirt:

people who say riding is “easy” have quite literally never tried to keep a 1,000-pound ADHD dinosaur listening while also managing their own body like a glitching sim character. riding is a whole-body, whole-brain, whole-spirit sport. hope this helps <3
