About the headcanons! I think Equius would be pretty shy around Feferi, but both Feferi and Nepeta would encourage him to talk in the rp way and rp in general. I also imagine when Feferi sits and thinks about serious things, Nepeta would be on her lap like a cat and Feferi would pet her. This makes thinking easier somehow

they gotta like really get equius out of the headspace that he's talking the highblood heir to the throne but also maybe feferi kind of likes being treated like a princess sometimes so their main issue is getting him to stop thinking seadwellers are his enemies. they're so kismesis to me, lowkey both kind of find each other gross but also they could be on the most mad knight x princess shit you've ever seen

i think nepeta would be so great when feferi needs to have a serious moment. like shes very silly but we've seen that she can calm down for a regular conversation before. she's absolutely let fef pet her while she's venting out about her life issues. mayhaps they can bond over creatures having to die for them to live (nepeta with her hunting and feferi with having to feed her lusus)
