In front of Equinor main office in Oslo, Norway. I invited volunteers to perform a nude action to show human fragility within water and cold. The blue hands symbol was made in collaboration with artists Gitte Sætre (No) and Margarita Colacci (Arg) , symbol meaning water in sign language and the blue,- referring to water. The symbol has been adopted world wide in new alliances , born from this day, namely "Global Coastline Rebellion". From this initiative grew a global community . the first time Extinction Rebellion opened for collaboration with other forums- over 50 organisations and 26 countries world wide. We did stop the fracking; one week later it was cancelled.
