Watching the Perseids

Bello and I rode to a remote quarter of our farm, and spent the night watching the Perseids meteor shower.

In mythology, it was because Perseus did not have a horse that he went on his quest to behead Medusa, and rescue the Ethiopian princess Andromeda from a sea monster.  He should have just looked for a horse.

Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport Board of Directors

The Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport Board of Directors was pleased to receive David Shoemaker, the new Canadian Olympic Committee CEO, at our meeting in Toronto.

We look forward to working with him to advance athlete rights and welfare, to raise ethical standards in sport organisations, and to enforce public accountability in the national sport system.
