Ah! I found it finally!
I actually started to watch the three last episodes...and when I got to the finale...I thought: Oh...I don’t think I’ll find the scene here (as Tami wasn’t likely going to get Gracie involved in that serious of a decision).

HIGHLIGHT:
INT. THE TAYLOR HOME (MASTER'S BEDROOM) - DAY
TAMI is finishing making up the top half of their bed already dressed up for a day at work, GRACIE is sitting on the lower half playing with some of her toys. ERIC is in the ensuite.
TAMI
Don't you need an equipment manager?
ERIC
(from Ensuite)
Bill is the equipment manager, sweetheart.
TAMI
Well, I'm sure Billy could use some help. Everybody could aways use a couple extra hands.
ERIC
(from Ensuite)
No
TAMI
Well, I just think it might be nice to give this girl an opportunity, you know? It's something that she really wants, and we keep talking to these kids about self-esteem and all that---let's put money where our mouths are, you know, make some changes. We got to get this school out of the 50's for heaven's sakes.
ERIC emerges from the ensuite in his Lions gear. Ready for the day.
ERIC
Honey, we're talking about my quarterback, who's a boy. His girlfriend happens for be a girl. I don't need 'em both in the locker room at the same thing. That's a bad idea.
TAMI
You just don't know that.
GRACIE is slinking on the foot of the bed. Watching her parents 'debate'. TAMI gives her a quick glance.
TAMI
You just don't know.
ERIC
No, I do know. Girls in locker rooms are bad ideas.
TAMI turns back to her daughter.
TAMI
I just think it's something to think about.
She flops on the bed, still eyeing Grace.
TAMI
Tell Daddy to think about it.
GRACIE straightens up---ERIC is quick to the draw too and points at her.
ERIC
Don't you dare.
GRACIE
Think about it, Daddy!
His daughter smiles at him sweetly and slinks back onto the bed.
ERIC turns to his wife in disbelief.
