wait how is clanheart doing and why is it not well
I made a critical post on Clan Heart about one month after it opened up pet making. If you want to read it at length it’s [ here ] Since then, not a lot has changed; for an exception that they’ve been working on redoing all their art, wiped all current pets, and did one rewrite of the ‘territories’.
One of the most painful things about clanheart is how they manage the pets; creating, breeding, removing them from the game.
You know how Flight Rising has a gradual range from one color to the next? Clanheart implemented a rainbow range, you can see a summary of the range [ here ]. The system for colors is complicated with various color ranges, palettes, and categories. Below I collected all the portions.
Colors: Red, Pink, Purple, Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange, & Greyscale.Palettes: Bright, Dark Pastel, Pastel, Pale, Dark, Middle, Unsaturated, & RichCategory: Unnatural & Natural
That’s 18 variables for the colors. Add in that for each ‘pet’ creation, the system makes seven different images - six of them that are only used when the clan owner ‘switches’ to another clan type.

You know how Flight Rising saves dragons as a string of numbers? Clanheart goes the extra mile.

There is also how the territories were managed, having over a hundred tile collections back when I made the original criticism post. No doubt having it in that format would put a huge strain on the system - especially after they had the forums open for a year before the pets were able to be made. And somehow, SOMEHOW, it came as a surprise that the system got overloaded when the pet creation got released.

At this point, Clanheart is in a constant struggle to stay afloat. Their offical tumblr is only filled with ‘pick future pet poses’, their onsite news is just pet highlights.
