YELLOW HUES 🍯

PA5TEL debuted with their first mini-album YELLOW HUES on July 28th 2015. They released the music video for the title track Honey a day earlier than the release of the limited physical copies the group had. They promoted their songs on several shows for 4 weeks, garnering more fans with each visit.

ERA HIGHLIGHTS

okay so they just started out – their name isn’t too well known and they had to compete with a bunch of other names that would definitely outshine theirs.

they held a few lives here and there – people were getting to know them

still, they only had a small fanbase that grew slowly with more promotions

the company wanted to get their name out there so they literally gave them a packed schedule just so a few more people would take notice

the boys were pretty overworked ☹

they performed on stage like for a whole 4 weeks – they were exhausted

someone save them

efforts paid off tho; someone took notice of silver – he trended after a small modeling gig

like literally, he was just passing by ready to go home and pictures went everywhere

not long after their debut, it was announced they would have their own show called off shade

Bunni had long his hair dyed silver at the roots

Silver had his regular black hair

JH had honey blonde hair

Hue had highlights – the colors changed every week (he had green, blue, purple and orange)

Bolin just dyed his hair pink and made it curly/wavy

it starts with a glimpse of the choreography – 4 boys peeking behind the leader and saying hello

once the group choreo was shown, we were given bright, saturated solo shots

bolin was given the bright blue room that resembled the sky while he sang his lines, starting off the song on an energetic note

it just looked like he was walking on air as he played with the clouds

i think he even ate one in one shot-

he just took a handful of cloud (cotton basically) and threw it at the cam before the cam panned down to an orange room

bunni raps the next few lines, jumping up and down on the trampoline

he was making poses at the camera and then threw a few of the plastic balls at it

what’s with them and throwing things at the camera

then he just lied down before he slaps the camera to the right where silver was

he was breakdancing lmao – he hits a note and the chorus starts

group dance hell yeah >:D

the chorus was pretty cute and simple – easy to follow along

the key point was where the center would point left, right then push back to the chest while the people in the back catch him and push him back to stand, make a heart shape with their hands and double point when the line goes “my yellow hues~ you~ you~”

then we get jh and bolin harmonizing~ followed by hue finally getting some lines

all the rooms just start to crumble and break (bolin was literally Falling from the sky)

they find each other and the world seems brighter

they smile and laugh and hang out all together

for the last scene, they were walking off laughing at some weird joke fans were sure silver made

but nah, it was actually jh that made the joke – it was revealed in the behind-the-scenes video

the video ends with the last few notes of the song, the choreography was shown again and it ends with them holding hands and leaning on one another
