I managed to sketch a bit at work

It's been AGES since I grabbed a paper and a pen and tried something

I never really considered in having a "commander" as I'm a gw2 roleplayer and I don't want my characters to be inherently above my guild mates, but I'm starting to consider Erahti, my charr ash veteran, as the commander here on tumblr since I'm replaying all vanilla, HoT and PoF with her, including the in-between stories

And with all the injuries she had, I think it did pretty good with the commander dynamic, after all Maguuma and Elona

She is old, fierce, silly, likes to crack jokes even if she can't talk due to a throat injury, misses her right eye and leg, and left arm, and it's covered in scars

Also I head canon her to have some relations with some npcs like being Malice Swordshadow's grandamme or old friends with Almorra Soulkeeper? Dunno

This old lady, Erahti Smokebiter, is very very dear to me

She is an old veteran that has seen hundreds of battles, and as a result, she is covered in scars and has lost several limbs. She could have easily become a legionnaire or even a centurion, but as she usually says/signs, she would hate all the paperwork. Besides, her life is in the field with his fellow Ash Legion warband mates

She has lost her eight eye and leg, her left paw, and also her voice. She is mute, only capable of emitting deep laughs and a single patronizing "heh!". She uses sign language to communicate, but with one paw less, it's a bit difficult. Despite that, her warband mates understand her pretty good, @the-mister-taxi 's Flern Fleetingblade, and @frikineitor143 's Eregar Stoneclaw

She goes on her missions with her shortbow and staff, specially adapted to her metal hook where her paw should be

She is a really seasoned veteran that has maybe too much fun in the battlefield

She likes to feel useful. Probably will only retire when she's dead. A good soldier never has a chance to retire... Although she has considered becoming a Primus someday, but the cubs would probably scream in fear as soon as they see her

She usually relies on Flern to help her translate to others that don't know sign language. Also, she started to carry a little blackboard with chalk just in case
